You like dem sativas heh Don, I remember you even liked the looks of the Bunny pheno of the Kool Aid. Not too hopefull for this one, even tho the mom was one of my keepers the male seems to be passing down some undesirable traits.
As far as the rest of the garden, the mr nice x cheese hairs are starting to turn orange. The Sour D is taking on that "dour" smell. Getting pretty frosty too, its not that sticky frost, its kinda grainy, like salt. The pollinated bud sites on it are looking lovely, I can see some beans have formed already. Should have a few extras.
Came home from school, tent was 91, one cream cheese was totally dehydrated. She's better now, but still...
I had to reattach my exhaust fan to my tubes. I did some re engineering the other day, and it just wasn't secure enough.
Dropped a clone of my Cream Cheese to a buddy yesterday. So l'll be able to get another planters opinion of it.
He wants to go half on a pack of Dr. Greenthumbs GSC. I was like hell no would I pay that much for beans, not even half that much. Theres too much uncertainty, and Ive found keepers in bagseeds better than store bought.
Finally got some interesting smells from a few of the bag sour f2's. Seems like 2/7 fruity,3/7 sour, 2/7 no smell(with one being the triforce). If its a good enough plant I gonna call something the legend of zelda. Or gannondorf or something zelda related. Depends how it comes out, majoras mask? the ocorina of pine?
zelda related i love it!!
IMHO the gear from the doc greenthumb is the real deal .
just another S1 whore now but the results folks get are pretty crazy . i got a ghost s1 that is priceless to me for effect alone but the resin is crazy!!

the "grainy trichomes" you refer to sound like what are passed down in some of my sour moms progeny it is hella weird to drytrim into a "Trimbin" the amount of kief that falls thru is amazing cuz it detaches so easy on 2 of my phenos. one sour X durban haze and a sour X (fire og x greencush)
pretty kewl your seeing the sandy trich expession

I saw it in ak 47 from serious seeds first. So I was able to recognize and classify it now. Good comments. Thanks for sharing bro.

So today I hurt my back doing the garden work. But it had to get done so, I fed all the veggers 1/2 strength food and held back 4 sour d's to go in in 1-2 weeks from now. Those ones are getting their first taste of open sesame full strength and the bagsour f2's got their first taste of food in their lives. Number 5 is dank with a !. Thats the notes I wrote down so we will see how it comes out. The trifoliate number 4 is stank but not as loud.

Even the LA on I got from DNA did it. I didnt keep it. Low yield, not enough effect, bad seed.

nice journal! you have a link or journal for those homemade tents?
I found it on riy through papabears diy tent thread. Not sure if its still alive but they are very easy. Its just 2 rectangular frames on 4 pillars. Wrap with garbage bags or panda plastic. Put a vent here for intake,a vent there for exhaust. Gotta balance out the negative pressure with ur fans, but its way cheaper. About $75 for mine.

I have 21 of the purple wrecks about to come out in about a week and a half and will get some pics of the hash. It will be the first single strain hash run i have done:-)

So you would consider that one your keeper pheno?
Yea it is a good plant all around though i am not big on how easy the gland heads come off. You can not ruff this one up much and it is a little on the ruff side till it gets a proper cure. Then it is some blueberry heaven bro:-)

Kool Aid has been my main breeding project since 2010 it is an unknown bagseed female pollinated by a querkle male. The unknown kush was hardly any leaf, straight calyxes. She was truly exceptional. I planned on just keeping her around forever. Then I got hooked up with a buddy that was testing out some querkles and had 2 males to get rid of.I was offered one for some of the beans. I got extremely lucky. The first test bean I pooped produced the most amazing kool aid pheno I have seen to this date. It was not like the mom or the pop. It was better than both of them. Smell alone, it was like an orange creamcicle. After that I popped 10 and got like 10 phenos. The variation was all over the place.I had one that was more hazey that Don Gin Ton liked I called bunny. I had one with a leaf mutation called curly. I basicallly didived them into 2 groups haze and kush. Since I didnt want anything haze and the bunny took like 11 weeks. I went for the querkle dominant curly pheno. After moving to a new place, I busted out the last 20 kool aid beans, hopeing I could get a boy. But they were left for someone else to care for them for a few days, and sadly did not survive. So I went in the top shelf in the back and dug up the original querkle pollen. To be continued...
