Shishkaboy's breeding showcase

When i first started growing there was this negative air about males and pollen so like most other novice growers i was scared of males and pulled em. i even bought all feminized seed in my last seed order. Now that i have a much wider understanding about the plant and breeding in general i feel i am ready to try and make my own crosses. I actually got hooked up with a whole male querkle plant. For my first attemp at pollen chucking i didnt want to use any feminized stock so i used the shishkaberry cut from one of my first orders that ive had for years now and a bagseed that looks smells and grows a lot liks headband that i call headbanger kush. i hit them both with some querkle pollen so i can see what traits this querkle will pass on when i cross it with something else. i also got hooked up with a 5 pack of cheese bx2's and got 3 males and 1 female. My other breeding project and i used the term breeding loosely is pollenating the 1 female with pollen from all 3 males in order to determine which male is the best one to keep for further projects.

So was thinking about the possible combinations that can come out of this cross and what i would want. i narrowed it down to an indica dom grape flavored kush with purple in it. then i thought "what would i call this?". Kool Aid Kush. So thats just what im gonna call it.

yeah i only got a few cause i didnt know how to do it right just yet. our boy dweezy set me straight tho. i just went back and hit the cheese bx2 wit some small piles of dust. But for now I have like 20 beans. I planted 6 already so just a few left. No worries tho i have clones of the mom and pop in veg.

thats what that fkn Express calls me we dont see things the same

i was educated by elite genetic he says to let them dry before useing them -will work right away -rates will be better if you dry them good

i let em stay in the bud til the bud was dry. Still under ground. I figured no need to soak em there fresh.
I just harvested a few more from one of the shishkaberry buds that was dry. 25 from that one side branch. I just put a lil pollen on the side of that one. the main cola is gonna be packed with beans.

This is very exciting i love the names the strains the brains and the gains very nice job many reps to you how many times will you breed them and how long will it take to try and stablize a strain you like..If you are going to do that?

I think thats an awesome question stinkbudd. If i do end up finding the Kool Aid i will do some backcrosses to isolate the traits i like. But that is not my main focus right now. My main focus is actually my cheese project. But my point with this project is to test my querkle male out and see what traits he passes on. At this point i feel its very neccesary to find out what my male does in this project since he is going to be a definite keeper male for me if i figure out what his offspring will have in common i will know how to cross him and get my desired results. So i have 2 querkle crosses at the same time same conditions same everthing. Lets see what he do. For now some seed porn

i think i wanna say sourer but still grapey tho. not sweet but diesely i can def smell the fuely urkelness in it. imma stop by and see what good never been in

I think you need a certain amount of post or have to be a memeber for a couple days..what was he other account and who is the monkey

So i went to check on the germing seeds. Low and behold one was poking its head out. i said ohhh yeaaaah. It was named Randy Savage. Got 2 more looking like they ready to come out too. So the kool aid is born.

So the Kool Aid Kushes are germinating fine right now got 2 of 6 above ground and 2 more coming soon. I let the shishk x q's sit for a few days so now i laid out 10 of em for a test run. I also packaged up a few packs for a few friendly growers that dont mind experimenting. Q is ready to start busting sacs so ill start collecting more pollen tommorow. Few more shots of "Q"
