food saver the lb and use FEDEX OVERNIGHT. Trust me it works well. 
The shipping is going to be pretty damn expensive but it's worth it. Be sure you get a tracking number too. Be sure to overnight it the shorter time it's in their hands the better.

Not worth it I promise.....
I used to live in South Texas where I could get elbows for $125 to $175, my brother lived in a northern state. Everything was fine the first few times, fake names, fake addresses, packaged properly until my brother got a notice to pick up his package at the post office. Needless to say he got popped when he picked it up, I got federal charges as well as state charges for every state it passed through. A good lawyer, thousands of dollars and a lot of embarrassment is what it cost me, needless to say it was the most expensive elbow that I or my brother ever purchased. The only thing that saved either of our asses was that it was all personal....they had staked out my brother and knew he wasn't selling.
Trust me it is not worth it.....look at all the people getting Homeland Security letters for seeds lately....and those are a breeze to send. By sending finished product you won't just get a cute green letter, you will get a few big men with over-inflated ego's pounding on your door waiting to take you away to your new boyfriend behind bars.
As far as UPS goes....worse than the postal service.....I worked at a UPS hub for a few years....wasn't a day at work something was intercepted. Don't know about fed-ex but would assume it is the same.
If you are going to do it, research, pack it right and be prepared to get caught. Don't think that using bunk return address will keep you safe....it most likely won't.
P.S. this was Pre-9/11/anthrax so I can only assume stuff gets checked better now days.

Hey all, I worked for 4 years in the FedEx hub in Columbus, it at the time was the largest shipping hub in North America. The only time we ever had cops or drug dogs come into the place was when a box broke open and bricks fell out. Other than that there is no screening or xraying of your shipment. Believe me, the FedEx employees don't want the drug dogs as much as you. Every break we were out chiefing in the parkinglot.

I used to get boxes that reaked of weed, you would just laugh and send it down the line. There was no option for us to break open the boxes and take the items either. Every employee has to pass thru the guard shack and get metal detected and padded down, there is a $5,000 reward for seeing another employee steal and turning them in.
My suggestion would be to put it safely in a box, address it and tape the hell out of it. Then put that in another box and address and tape the hell out of that one. If something were to happen to the outer box an employee could take the address on the inner one and print a new tag and send it on.

One last thing, FedEx is broken up into different parts, Express - Ground - Custom Critical. I worked at the ground hub, we deal only in trucks. If something were overnighted it would go air, with air, I am unsure it may be xrayed since it is going on a plane. I would just do regular ground with tracking.

Yeah she probably was, alot of times they die in transport. I have my phillipino brides shipped in bulk on containerships, have them do 3 or 4 at a time, then if shit goes bad they can eat the weak ones. Then they deliver the containers and I got a spot to house em.kiss-ass

okay, i'm gonna weigh in here, and give you why not to ship weed...first a personal experience, my best friend was a big dealer in my area, so he started shipping weed, he worked for ups so he knew what the packages go through, he taped the crap out of the box and sealed it put the weed inside something else and taped that shut and everything, shipped a lb. 3 or 4 times,until the package got stepped on and crushed and delayed and sat in a loaded trailer over a weekend, the smell proof bag got popped and the smell gave it away, what you don't know is that ups not only has alot of untrustworthy people working there...i'm one of them, we steal everything because it's all insured, candy, dvds, electronics, watches, jewelry...i seriously pay my rent with schwag...we randomly check boxes to see if there is anything good, believe me if we ever found your stuff, you'd never find it or the police would come looking for you...another problem, we are lazy, we through small light boxes like footballs, we use heavy boxes as foot stools, and we regularly walk and step on packages, i don't think twice when i step on a small box and it breaks. we are also VERY good at making packages like they did when we picked them up, if a package takes too many bumps and looks beat up, they can and they will repackage your package...they are completly allowed to do this and are completly allowed to notify the police if they find anything...
you can get away with shipping weed, just don't make a habit of it, there are too many factors you don't know about

Never ship weed next day air...ALL PACKAGES THAT GO ON PLANES ARE INSPECTED BY DRUG DOGS...It is part of homeland security's requirements now, we take our loads, the packages pass infront of dogs sniffing for bombs, drugs and chemicals...guarantee you you will get caught shipping next day...ground is the only choice and nothing over a long distance, those trailers ship the most so that is usually where the most damages and thefts happen...and ups can fully search ANY package, when you ship it you sign an agreement that ups is now in control of your package until it is delivered

Figured I'd weigh in here.
If you really have to send and it's worth the effort use the candle method. Get some big candles, cut out a hollow part, put something in it, slightly burn the edges of the bottom piece (or just use melted wax) and seal it back together again. It's time consuming but it works, and then if it breaks it still doesn't look suspicious if you did it right.
I've never shipped anything, but I've heard of people doing it this way and have seen a candle that had stuff in it and had no idea, just be careful.

didn't know we had so many UPS(united pot smokers)(under paid slaves) or fedex employees here...the $5,000 is not really what you get, if you break up a huge theft ring you could get it, but usually they give you the value of what you got returned...i am in management so i have all night to look for packages i want and then when all of my employees go home i take what i want...seriously biggest thing i ever got was a 42 inch flat screen tv...and the most valuable was 2 boxes of watches, each box had 120k worth of watches in it...anyone need a watch?
