SHERIFF JOE...he will take and KEEP your meds

I'm freinds with Phoenix NORML group on Facebook and they posted a article saying

"if you are a medical marijuana patient in Maricopa County...and you get caught by SHERIFF JOE...he will take and KEEP your meds because "he feels it is still contraband". I believe we passed a law that says he cannot do this. Anyone know the status on the judge's decision in this case??? This guy is wrong in so many different ways.

So basically the Maricopa County Sheriffs office can pull you over and confiscate your meds as "contraband" even if you have a MMJ card.. I call heavy shenanigans !!!

Man Arizona is one fucked up State. They jump up and down about State's Rights than violate yours when they disagree with them.

Thank God this show is General Admission! Stand anywhere you want.

Looking into a bit further it appears it applies to people arrested for other crimes. But that's still no reason to live anywhere near that County.

You said it correctly, the Gov. bitches and moans about States right ( especially on immigration) then when the voters of the state pass a law they basically tell you " to go fuck yourself"

wow! It's just good ole boys politics again, that's why I vote. I voted in the mayoral election in Phoenix;it's the only way to get good government is to be vigilant and involved. I have met way too many folks who say they don't follow politics. I bet you if it had Simon Cowell and was on Fox prime time than we'd vote (good idea!) brought to you by McDonald's, lol why not!

Red State dude. Lots of hillbillies get off on the fact that he raids Landscaping companies and what not. This fucker keeps getting voted in time after time and he has steals money from the Tax Payers its in the paper like every day and they keep voting this shit head in.

hes keeping ur meds because he wants to smoke it......i had an uncle who was an investigator and used to cruise with cops....theyd bust kids all the time and just pocket the herb...

it also doesn't help that anyone who runs against joe gets smeared, like a mofo. I knew this guy who ran named Bearupp, during his campaign one of his kids were implicated in a murder case in north phoenix. Before that incident , Bearupp had the lead when it came to approval and then after the incident Bearupp's numbers dropped faster than a whore to her knees. Then there was the guy who was entrapped by MCSO and joe during another one of his election campaigns. This guy served in county where he was placed with a provocateur who not only gave the inmate the idea to make a car bomb for sherriff joe. The provocateur even went as far as to obtain the bomb ingredients for the inmate. The inmate didn't even assemble the bomb (when he was released) and MCSO arrested him on conspiracy charges. Sherriff Joe is exactly what is wrong with populist politics. He does corrupt shit until the year of an election and then he goes on a media parade talking how tough he is and how he's "America's Sheriff". Fucking hypocrisy!
