He must have used old trim that started to oxidize. Not cold enough temps during the blast and no dewax or winterizing.... most food grade runs look like that... I wouldn't smoke that if god himself told me i would be fine... it probbaly wont hurt you as its just a shit tonne of clorophyl but it sure as shit will kick you in the chest like a mule...
OP - next time treat your trim like you would your nugs, dry it properly and blast it while its fresh as soon as its dry. keep it in subzero temps throughout the entire blast. you need dry ice for this. the cold temps help lock in the chlorophyl and it wont be as black. depending on how you purge you have to keep the slab as thin as possible in order for the vacuum to work as it should... vacuum doesnt effect the insides of something only the surface, so you need as much surface area as possible.... its an art and eveyrone has their own methods you just gotta blast more and more and everyone will be better than the last

wth that must have been some shwaggy ass old bud..... you shouldnt even crush the bud. butane's molecules are so tiny it will flood the insdies of the bud without having to grind... any cuts or tears to any plant matter only become more area for chlorophyl to get into your extract... if you want some nice amber shatter try doing another nug run but leave the nugs intact. you can collect your first run which will be the best quality and than grind your nugs for a second blast and youll get some more out of it but it will be darker and shitier
