Setups for maximizing Nevada's Seven (7) Plant limits?

I currently offer services to get you legal including step by step on what you have to do. All the paperwork that is needed to get legal and where to go to get them signed. Everything is very detailed with directions to places you have to go, and referrals to doctors you HAVE to see to get legal. Everything is conducted in an organized professional matter. Please if interested send me a PM.

I don't understand the 99 plants thing. Under 453A, it says 7 plants, 3 immature and 4 mature. So why would anyone pay a lot of extra money to a consultant for that affadivit? If you have over 7 plants metro is going to take it, and if you have 99 plants, I don't see how that is not a arrestable offense.

I spoke with a metro cop in the DEA unit to make sure that I was compliant regarding the law. He didn't give it a shit about any affadivit from a doctor regarding 25 or 99 plants. You should be very careful about that. If you are arrested and your stuff is taken away, the consultant is not going to be by your side in jail to help you out.

You people are so paranoid about plants, clones and seeds but yet you think about obtaining 25 or 99 plants. Unbelievable!!!

I can't even find or obtain seeds in Las Vegas, and yes, I have my ACTUAL medical marijuana card. This city is for the birds.

Being able to grow 99 plants makes it a lot easier to get a good crop. 99 plants isn't all that much when growing sog style. It leaves room for error, and allows a faster crop. If you only have 3 larger plants flowering, and one or two of them dies, you just lost 33-66% of your crop for that 2-4 month period. That would be pretty devastating for a medical patient. If you have 99 plants and a few die, it won't make much difference in your final harvest.

From what I understand, as long as you are a legal mmj patient with your card, it doesn't matter if you grow 1-99 plants (assuming you have a 99 plant waiver). Once you hit 100 plants the federal penalty is much stiffer and you can not be protected by the state if the feds showed up at your door. Anyone can correct me if this is wrong, but this is what I understand from reading around here.

Also seeds are easy to get in Vegas. You can just order them online.

Here perhaps this will clarify it for you.

NRS 453A.310 Affirmative defenses.

1. Except as otherwise provided in this section and NRS 453A.300, it is an affirmative defense to a criminal charge of possession, delivery or production of marijuana, or any other criminal offense in which possession, delivery or production of marijuana is an element, that the person charged with the offense:
(a) Is a person who:
(1) Has been diagnosed with a chronic or debilitating medical condition within the 12-month period preceding his or her arrest and has been advised by his or her attending physician that the medical use of marijuana may mitigate the symptoms or effects of that chronic or debilitating medical condition;
(2) Is engaged in the medical use of marijuana; and
(3) Possesses, delivers or produces marijuana only in the amount described in paragraph (b) of subsection 3 of NRS 453A.200 or in excess of that amount if the person proves by a preponderance of the evidence that the greater amount is medically necessary as determined by the person’s attending physician to mitigate the symptoms or effects of the person’s chronic or debilitating medical condition [...]

Hell .... 49 is a good size op. If you can't medicate your self on 49 plants then I would think
your not trying too hard. I dunno.... I hope that isn't rude to say but 49 plant limit would be
a considerable limit to deal with.

I did talk to a Dr about the 99 plant limit and he says the numbers vary a bit depending on
previous and current med history. My history should realize something near the 99 max. He
also asked me not to list his name on any forums ..... sorry bout that but he is low key and
it took me over a year to get his name from a good friend.

He said if a doctor panders his services then his prescriptions become suspect and can be
denied or rejected. A patient should NOT want to depend on the testimony of such a doctor.
The doctor would be doing the patient a disservice and placing their treatment in jeopardy.
Basically it's a rep thing with in the system. I can dig it. If I get popped and have to have my
doctor testify I would want the courts to view him as a reliable physician. Thus increasing
my chances of his prescription holding up in court.

His cost are a bit more than the average but it's doable. And I would be happy with a 49 plant
limit.

PS
He said to not try to get a second doctor to increase a prescription already active by another
physician. This is a red flag and most doctors wont do it anymore. So you have to let your
current prescription expire then try to get a new one with higher plant count limits.

IMO 99 plants isn't that much assumin u r trying to accomplish perpetual harvest year around typically that would b 33 clones 33 veg 33 flower harvest every 8-10 weeks leaves u with probably 2 pounds ( depending on strain and grow style) to get through 8-10 weeks depending on how you use mmj to relieve your symptoms may be plenty or not quite enough

Thanks for all the input everybody. I think for my needs, and to stay within the confines of the law (7 plants), I'm going to follow mr. boots advice and use a 3 week cycle as quoted here:
"...Loop, As far as how to maximize our state's 7 plant limit, with 3 flowering and 4 vegging plants, I think the best way to go would be to go on a 3 week cycle. I wouldn't keep a mother plant, that would be a waste of one of your plants, just take a bottom branch as a clone every time you put a plant into flower. from the time you took the clone to putting the plant into flower would be 12 weeks,a very long vegg time. By then the plants would be huge. You would need two rooms and some way to manage a giant outdoor size plant, maybe a portable scrog screen or a lot of ties for an lst system. You would flower for 9 weeks, which would be long enough for all the indica strains and most hybrids. you would cut down one plant every 3 weeks. ..."

FYI: beware of anyone selling you a waiver to be able to grow 99 plants, they don't honor those in Nevada. Some of the evaluation centers will sell them to you, but they aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

Nevada MMJ laws are fucked like a hooker on fourth and fremont at 2 a.m.. It does clearly state that you have affirmative defense to more than just your predisposed plant count. And anyone who is growing anything decent is not going to need more than a few plants unless you plan on doing something else?! I would personally not worry about 5 or 6 plants flowering and the same in veg. I would also use MY attending physician and not some fake ass doctor who charges me $200 to sign some papers. My REAL doctor did it for free and it cost me $212 total! Then again, if the police show up at my house and see my garden as well as my crippled ass, chances are they would rather bust some poser with a card than a REAL patient. I see the same shit in Cali and Colorado where I have been a patient for years. Simple garden and no problems, it is you damned commercial growers that need to worry and you should.

I just wanted to say whats up to my fellow Nevada people.

I am not very clear on exactly how the mmj laws work out here as they won't let me get a card, but in vegas it seems that there are quite a few "dispensary" or co-op looking businesses. I have 2 within walking distance of my house. these guys might get busted next week, but for now it seems like there are places to buy your medicine.

Loop, As far as how to maximize our state's 7 plant limit, with 3 flowering and 4 vegging plants, I think the best way to go would be to go on a 3 week cycle. You would flower for 9 weeks, which would be long enough for all the indica strains and most hybrids. you would cut down one plant every 3 weeks. Depending on the strain, that one plant could be a pound. it would definetly be enough to supply your needs. But then you would be holding more than the one ounce you are supposed to have. I don't know what to do about that. Hide it? thats what I do with my outlaw grow.

Good to see a good number of Nevadans on this site.
Gotta hate that dried limit.. Seems like just about every state lets you grow pounds but limits you to a miniscule amount cured.. We need to come together as a nation, beyond state levels and fix this!

Thats really confusing.

Our state law is 12/12 - which is the average amount of legal plants if you looked at all the states (I think). If you grow those right, you can get 5-7 pounds per harvest, strain and setup dependent. Thats not perpetual. 12 flower, 4 times a year - 15 to 21 pounds. Whether your doing it perpetual or not would just dictate when you have the med's available, because obviously when your doing it all at once you have to wait.

Hell if we could legally grow, disperse of, an front the electricy for 33 flower plants at a time, a handful of good growers could supply the whole northeast.

If you want to maximize - why not just run a few thousand watts to your 7 plants and aim for close to 4# per cycle. (12 per year) You'd be foolish not to.

I spoke to my physician who told me Nevada courts do not recognize 99 plant waivers. There are Docs in town who will sell you these affidavits, you should avoid these people. From what I understand, there may be three mmj patients in one household at a time with the ability to have 3 plants in bud and 4 in veg at any given time. This allows 9 plants in flower at one time, legally according to the state program IF i am correct about the 3 person per househld rule, and allows for 12 plants in veg. STAY AWAY FROM DOCTORS WHO ARE WILLING TO SELL YOU WAIVERS THEY DONT STAND BY! THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT YOUR PROTECTION.
