Sempervivums

Heres some nice pix....im lovin me some sempervivums. Anybody else like succulents? They're great for roof gardens and revel in drought.3-015-euro-fountain2_jfr.jpeg

really cool, I have a few sempervivums out in the yard, they will survive 45N winters, pretty cool...

also have a Jade plant Crassula ovata also in the Crassulaceae family :peace:

That's the most awesome use of hens and chicks I've seen. I used to get into cacti and succulents a lot and used to have a small seed store before I got bored with it. I used to buy them from here. http://mesagarden.com/ This guy is the cacti and succulent zen master, the Ed Rosenthal of cacti. He's more than reasonably priced and has a lot of rare stuff. Nothing fancy, just big lists of seeds, make sure you understand his ordering process if you place an order. I used to grow a few here and there and still have a few that have survived all the neglect.
