Soiless mix with lime pelite and 1 tsp osmocote plus. Lighting is 250w hps with wing reflector light is now 12" away from plants, temp staying at 84f, have small fan blowing under bulb over canopy, 4" inline fan set on 3/4 power. My question is about a week ago one plant started looking pale then random burns on tips. I dont know if its light burn or nute burn any help is certainly apprecieated

Slightly high nutrient use.

Your running the near edge of to much.
As long as it doesn't get worse. You should be OK.
Thanks. But why would that cause the leaf to go pale ? I understand the burnjng tips from it. Just not the pale yellowing of the leaves. Humidity stays around 30 is that too low?

hey what week of flower are you in? looks like they will automatically start yellowing out due to end of flower.. the very end of the plants flowering schedule the major fan/sugar leaves will pale out or yellow out due to the nutrients being ate up by the plant, most growers will use just water to finish the nutrient intake and clean it out before harvest.. so you don't end up with a chemically tasting weed.. they look great. whats the bred? GDP?

Any chance it could be light burn since it stays 84f in my cab
temps are ok if using co2 but as long as a fan is blowing around you should be ok. hell lift it an inch or three just to see.. most budding is done in dark anyway

Strain is purple kush auto. I have two. One is nice deep green with just the very tips of random leaf burnt, the other is yellowing with about every leaf tip burnt. Week 4-5 dont think its end of life yellowing. Ive chalked it down to my humidity staying at 30, or light burn. If used as recommended, osmocote dont normally burn. Idk .guess what is comes down to is wondering is its light burn, thats what i really want to know. Here is a pic of the darker green one

Slight heat from the light being close. You fixed that.
The burnt tips are telling you that the nutrient is right at the edge of to much.

Like I said, They will be fine,,,,looking good actually.

Not necessarily, that can also be nutrient burn, says the girl who runs 105 canopy temps all summer long :) I'm with nutrient burn on this as well. I usually run my nutrients up until I see tip burn then back off about 10%.

The yellow could be some Mg or possibly a little need for P right about now. But we'd need a shot of the entire plant to know for sure. Currently what I see looks nice.

At 4-5 weeks that shouldn't be senescent yellowing :)

High P.
RH is low but not to effect it this way......I run at dehumidifiers at 40% and it hovers around 45% .

Research osmosis. Once your soil becomes hypertonic the plant will stop/slow the uptake of water/nutrients then begins to transfer nutrients from the leaves to the new growth. You need to get the plant transpiring again. Clear your medium of a good portion salts but not all. It will take 6-10 days before you start to see results, if you get impatient and feed them to soon you will be back in the same boat your in now. If you don't have an EC meter buy one. Never feed over .5EC or on dry soil.

Just curious, what strain is that. It looks like it has tremendous potential. Pretty too!

Purple kush auto. I also dont feed. I keep it very simple i mix 1 gallon peat/perlite mix, add 1 tsp lime, 1 tsp epsom salt, 1tps osmocote plus, which is guaranteed to now burn even at 4x the recommended dosage. I honestly just hope its not light/heat related.
