Seeking New Designated Grower

Well the time has come for me to leave the MMAR and reluctantly go into the new system. My original DG has just received notice from H/C that they've passed the security phase and that they can consider themselves an LP. Bottom line is he sprays with banned pesticides sometimes and I think that should motivate me to see if I can find another designated grower.

I've made my appointment with my Skype doctor for January so I have that much time to find somebody new. I'm presently at 40 g p d under the MMAR and though many have been forced to reduce their scripts to go into the new system I won't be.

I'll be somewhere between 40-80 g p d.

What I would like to find is a long term grower who's dependable and honest. I can assure you that I am the same.

Please send me a PM if you are interested in talking to me.

Thanks and have a good day!

PS. If I can just say this: I'm not wanting any kind of wannabe gangsta types. Thanks.

Thank you guys. Appreciate your positive energy. VIANARCHRIS, I have been paying attention for over a year and in my opinion many, many people in the MMAR who have tried to go into the new program have been told by the prescription places they went to that the doctor won't go above a certain amount and that this amount is much lower than many of the MMAR amounts. When I started doing my own research on prescription services I was often told "We'll start you off with 20 or 30 g p d and then after 6 months we can review it and possibly move you up." Several other places scoffed at me and told me that the max they would prescribe was 5 g p d and you had to go with an LP service that they were representing. That's from my own personal conversations with them. It's a mine field out there I tell ya.

I did find a few places that would prescribe more than 40 g p d but they want several thousand if anyone is interested you can PM me.

I think the word is that those large scripts cost large dollars. You are correct on the thousand's aspect. Then they want you to renew that each year......yikes !!!! Huge dollars to weasels that do nothing for it. I'd never pay that to skimmer doctors.
You need a large amount and that type of operation is not cheap.

You're right Hippy man....although I did find one place which has lowered their renewal cost, and that impressed me. When I initially started looking around over a year and a half ago now, some of these crooks wanted $6000 for 40 and then another $6000 each year for renewal. I laughed at them and walked. I guess they realized their greed because they have since reduced their prices and their renewal costs too. One of the things I discovered though was that some of these doctors say that they're not charging any fees and they're right. The prescription service has hired them and pays them a yearly amount in a contract agreement.

It's the prescription service that determines how much they'll charge for certain amounts and you're paying that company - not the doctor for your script. The most bang for your buck that I found was a 30 g p d script for $850 plus renewal. That was on Vancouver Island, BC.

I think you'll be happy Hippy man, because my DG has become and LP and I'm leaving because I don't want to be part of the LP charade.

It's unreasonable to think that patients have that kind of money laying aroundd every fucking year.

I wonder if those high fees for your prescription are a tax deduction as a necessary medical expense? Does anybody know?
