Seedling problem

Hello RIU and Happy New Year!

Ill just get right into it...

Growing space is a closet.
2 4" inline fans (one exhaust one intake)
temps are consistently around mid 70s with lights on, not sure about lights off temp.
RH has been low due to winter (not exactly sure how low though)
Organic raised bed mix from hardware store
Feeding with Mega Crop (i dont feed my seedlings until they are well into veg and starting to flower so these are unfed at this point)
About 3 weeks above ground
600W LED panel
Grown under 12 12 from seed

Trying to think of any other info that might be needed?

So heres the pics

They are 2 DPS Glueberry OG feminized. One is ok, the other is growing weird. It came out of the seed like this and has continued to grow weird. The one with odd growth I topped a few days ago to try and shock her out of it. Shes grown faster but I can tell the new growth coming is still weird lol.

Whats going on and how might I correct it? I dont want to lose this plant lol. Is it just a bad seed or something? image9.JPG image10.JPG image11.JPG

Shock her out of it? Nae chance. It's in her genetics! Looks healthy just a little weird that's all.

If you got space and can be bothered might as well keep her :)

Im keeping her! Plenty of space in my closet for her.

Yeah, I tried to shock her out of it lol. Not sure of my through process with that one but I figured what the hell haha.

I was thinking it was something genetic possibly but wasnt sure. Thanks for the reassurance, Ill definitely keep her!

I had a seed pop with fused leaves that after 4 days needed to be cut open with a razorblade so the serrated ones could come through. Looked weird AF and stunted for the first week or two but now it has almost caught up to its sister that popped at the same time. The growth is different though on the mutant one (I call her mutey) but it seems it was worth keeping and waiting that little bit longer for it to catch up.

There are also different phenotypes within each genome so if you pop two of the same seeds and those seeds are not pure in genetics (majority of seeds these days are not, they are all crosses to improve performance eg indica dominant sativas etc) one seed can show characteristics of one of the parent genes and the other the opposite. So you could have two of the same strain one looking more like an indica and one looking more like a sativa because of the dominace of the parents characteristics in the genome.

pretty early to be topping a normal photo seed.
seems counter productive to top a seedling already initiated to flower(planted in 12/12) like topping an auto, but to each his own.

Just a little update on this seedling. I think its doing fine now, still has that crinkly leaf thing going on but its not as bad, most of the new growth is mostly normal it seems like. i guess its just something in the genetics and ive read that some strains display this as a trait. this strain is dutch passions glueberry og.

so you can see the plant is doing ok, two nice main colas (small but nice lol) and two side branchs have branched out so much they are starting to compete with the main colas almost.

this is the seedling (guess shes no longer a seedling actually lol) that sprouted normal and has grown normally and is not topped at all. both plants did get a very minor defoliation for airflow and light penetration. i might have gone a little heavy on the nutes (megacrop). i think im starting to get the hang of it all now and im considering purchasing another led for a vegging area while keeping my 12 12 from seeds going. i think they are nearly half way done flowering now.

My crinkle leaf DPS GBOG is about ready to harvest this weekend! Looks like a fairly heavy yielding strain. Im hoping to buy more seeds to do a proper 6-7 week veg before summer is over to get a real proper harvest off this strain. She smells wonderful and can definitely smell a chocolately coffeeish og kush scent under the fruity gorilla glue and blueberry cross. I wouldnt call it a berry fruity though. Im excited to see how the terps develop over the cure! image1.JPG image2.JPG image3.JPG image4.JPG
