seed to smoke using Canna A/B, DIY LED's in a flood and drain.

Going to grow some top shelf seed I got from OES . Some Buds dogbud femmed from CSI Humbolt seeds and Blue Fire from Green Life seeds.



Built myself a really nice 250 watt full spectrum(3500K) Cree CXB 3580 LED light for the 2 foot x 2.5 foot room. This is a sweet spot of 50 watts per foot.
It is sweet, I am using it now to grow some super lemon haze and it went nuts.
Also accumulating parts for another light. This is an 8 cob setup using the same cree LED's. It is for the 3x3 room, it will run at about 40 watts per square foot, still sweet. Kind of costly, even building it, si it takes a few paydays to get it done.

The grow will be in my flood and drain system

Nutes will be simple.
Canna A and B.
Plus some Botanacare calmag added.
Using Canna Aqua Vega as the grow and Canna Aqua flora as the flower nute. The aqua is for the hydro systems that reuse the "water" over and over, recirculating.
Here is the grow stuff, well that and ph down, my town has fairly nasty water.

Setting up.

Cleaning the equipment. Throwing out the hoses and will just replace them, easier than cleaning.
Going to grow in a flood and drain system, which is equipment heavy, pumps, switches, buckets and hoses. But when dialed in, it works well and requires less daily upkeep.

This is my control bucket.
It controls the filling and draining of the 8- 3 gallon grow buckets. Here it is set to water 5 times a day for 15 minutes each, the time it takes to fill the grow buckets.



The big bucket, a 55 gallon storage reservoir I pump a lot of air into to churn it up well. That is the control bucket sitting on the floor in front of the 55er.

The parts for the second light, at least some, half.
Not in a rush, as the 3x3 room is lit with 2 mars2 400 blurple lights. The mars does the vegging just fine.

Got the blue fire planted into the flood and drain.That is always a lot of work.
They spent a week in bubble buckets to build up a root system.

Today

5 weeks.
I need to take some clones of the Blue fire soon and sex them.

They were seeds on July 17th.
6 weeks.
Time to clone and sex them soon.
Got the cloner working, so...

Took the 4 clones and will put them under 12/12.
The only light I have available is a Mars2 400. That is what I will use. I hope it will work for sexing???
(this is my little cheap ebay 2x2x4 tent I use for starting seeds)

This is what I'm told is a male preflower.
This is one of the fires, I have 2 plants that look like this and 2 that don't.
Sexing done...That was fairly easy. Will of course wait a few days, before I dispose of the offending plants.
