thats the best seed selection chart ever.

by the way, i tried painting a hair with pollen about week ago. it was the first flower and an early stem hair. i tapped the pollen out into a lid, and used a paint brush. the flower was extremely small as it lives in harsh conditions being a dangerous male. i must say the pollen is super fine almost takes off for hairs its self. i hope none carried over to my almost finished plant.

is it ever too late to pollinate?

it takes a few weeks for the seeds to start to form so you should be ok. takes about 6 weeks on the plant to ripen.

i was hoping to get it right, as i want good practice for my upcomming friends.. but it looks like my male may have popped its last flower. like i said harsh conditions..

but really, if you move the pollen to a group of hairs say after 1 week showing, it sounds and felt like the rest takes care of its self fairly easy. would you agree?

I had a small vial of seeds that I kept from bags that I thought were special over the last 10 years or so.

This year I grew some plants out from them.

2 indica's females and 2 sativa females were selected for breeding.

I used an Indica looking father for all the pollination. And I only pollinated a few branches per plant.

I got about 10 grams of seed per plant. I think there maybe some seed in the buds from the rest of the plant still.

The Indica should be a nice short flower plant good for my climate, and I will test out the Hybrid Sativa and Indica cross next season.

fdd have you ever pollinated a plant from a femanised seed,or do you know what the outcome is,are you takeing a chance at hemies.it seems more and more seeds are only comeing out as fems.i believe im done bying seeds i have alot of crosses i made, but i have 2 strains that were from fem seeds, and i wanted to throw them into the mix.i tried last year to pollinate a blueberry that had the biggest buds i ever saw,a friend had made them from selfing his BB,they never pollinated, ive heard some become docile are what ever its called, thanks.

ya try i will,i just dislike hermies they are the surprise in a box of cracker jack you can do with out.but im addicted to breeding,i just wish i had an outdoor growing season worth a danm,it is so exspencive and takes alot of space to grow out plants, and then you just give the seeds of your labour away to any one who wants them,it is a very sad life fdd, very sad indeed.

it doesn't slow the growth rate. not that i've ever noticed.
