yes and yes. the seeded bud will be seeded but it still gets you just as high.

i take mine out of the room when i spread pollen but then they go right back in with the others.

Very cool fdd, i guess thats why you kick so much ass at growing. I bet you could grow with just hopes and dreams your so good. Once question though, when storing your seeds i have heard freezing them in airtight containers and such. Any opinions on that?

i just got several 100 seeds off less then a 1/2 ounce of bud. the bud is still smokable as well.

i store my seeds in plastic containers, in a box with "desiccant" packages, on a cool shelf in my office. :)

awesome tutorial FDD. i remember reading this thread awhile back, but thank god i did. my sage n sour developed a male flower toward the end of the 5th week. so i leapt into action with the knowledge of FDD! haha. i was able to pollenate buds from the sage n sour and the white rhino. i'm about 11 days from harvest.

fdd, how long in general does it take for male pods to open and did you flower them with your girls, or put them in a seperate room. I was thinking of buying a small light for my best males and putting them in a seperate room, but that might be unnecessary if like you said I could put them outside just before they ripen?

what is the best way to store seeds, and how long do they keep?

As Fdd stated, just store them in a container of some sort and keep the seed in a cool dry place.....

.....oh and you asked how long do the seeds keep???.....well to give you an idea, I had 30 or so seeds from some low grade bud that has been stored in a zip-lock baggie, inside my desk drawer for about 4 months.....I took 10 seeds...and slowly but surely, 4 of the ten sprouted.....it's taken a looong time....about 12 days for the 4 to sprout.....so my guess is....if you want to use bagseed......try to germ them immediately.... or you could end up like me lol

Just my .02,

This thread rules and it shows. A tip for you all asking how to store seeds: I keep them in film canisters with a small bit of rice and then dessicant in the zip lock with them. Put that bundle in your fruit bin in the fridge and you are good to go for the long haul.

Has anyone kept their males in the same room with the girls for a natural pollination. If so, is it possible to eliminate groups of pollen sacs to reduce the overall pollination of your crop, or will this over stress the males and kill them before the sacs open?

i've trimmed males down to where they were just a branch or two. you can top and prune them as usual leaving just enough flower sites to get the pollen you need. :blsmoke:
