Security cameras n shit!

I'm a nerd and I like gadgets. Came across this today and had to buy one.

I already have a Canary camera which has been pretty awesome sending me alerts when it spots my pets moving around, I was able to spy on my pet sitters when I was on my 8 day trip making sure no one messed with my stealth box.

One cool thing about the Canary is that it has sensors for temperature, humidity and air quality (can call 911 in case of fire). The environmentals can be beneficial for you guys with your large grow rooms, it can send you alerts if humidity or temp go outside of your desired thresholds. You also get historical graphs that you can refer back on. Not to mention you can see your babies live!

I will be using the little $20 cam in my garage since the Canary is a bit more pricey. Might also put one in my grow box for my viewing pleasure haha.

you talk as if you do not grow you own weed also., referring to us growers as "you guys" "your thresholds","your babies".

I can give a shit less if you think this is spam, but its not, just a legitimate share of something that interested me.

I can't claim I grow, I'm a few weeks into my first attempt so I'm trying to learn but nowhere near where others are.

My whole new hobby started when I found some seeds in very good buds I picked up. Not that its the first time I have found seeds, its just been a long time since ive come across one in recent times, so I figured I would give it a go. And $600 later I have a pretty sweet op going in my opinion. 7 seeds sprouted, 1 Blue Cookie and 6 Gellatos. No clue if they are even girls yet. When I buy seeds I will get Cindy 99 and Bogglegum

kid is just happy to have a new home security cam.... why give him shit did your mom not hug you as a kid?

Personally - I put a few SriCams in my house to keep the house cleaner/babysitters in line. $31 each and they Pan/Tilt/Zoom. They only record with onboard SD cards, but at this price range SriCams are the best bet I think.

but I am happy with the quality and can be accessed from my phone as long as the internet at the house is working. These also have intercoms and sometimes I send my 2year old messages at night if I'm away for work... runs to the cam yelling at me, knows around 7-8pm if I'm not home I'll send her a few voice notes which is cool....

In my business I have a more robust 6 camera system, with DVR and intercoms I can threaten potential criminals from anywhere on earth if need be....

I went zmodo. 3 tb drive and cloud service. I almost got shot for a noise complaint recently in my own home which isn’t illegal either since I’m in the country, and they smelled weed so I asked to reach for my wallet and bam guns out. One would think I was bobby sands and heading the pira. I’m like chill damn, I asked even, just a wallet boys. With things how they are, best have a paid cloud service and hardrive. I have the door bell camera too and shit. But I’m very happy with the service. I won a lawsuit too cuz it over a neighbor trying to pull a fast one.

I use ubiquiti networks in a lot of the businesses I have as clients. They have stellar cameras, awesome night vision, you can set them up to view remotely from any computer or your phone and tons more. The nvr does well on storage 500gbs to start I swapped the hard drive out for a 5 tb drive. Their networking gear is awesome too and they’re not overly expensive.

My house is covered inside and out. I even use one as a deer cam on my land lol.

I live off the grid so my security system runs off solar power. To save energy my security monitoring system is activated by infrared motion detectors. My screens light up and power on only if there is a intruder. It's integrated with ground vibration detectors set at 50 lbs. That way only large critters alert me. Like bear, deer and thieves all unwanted guest around plants that are worth a few grand each.

Love my security cameras but don't think I'd use them in an illegal grow, too easy for law enforcement to use against you or use to find you.
