Welcome to riu!

I would go for photos. But thats just personal preference.
I would take clones of every plant prior flowering and keep those in veg for later selection.
try to find the pots you want to use and then see how many fit in your tent. Your tent is perfect for sea of green and I would go for this method.

Hope this helps a lil bit.

Peace

thanks for your reply Gbuddy how many plants u reckon for the sog method and in what size pots
I would go for a square foot per plant using the sog method.
if you go 12-12 from seed or clone without veg even less. In your case I recommend a short veg time because you have enough space so no need to go 12-12 from seed or clone.
Depends also on how you want your plants to look like.... bushy (needs more than a sq ft per plant) or only mainstem and a fat headbud without lots of branching (sog).
If you go for sog try to use square pots. That way you can use the most of your lower growspace for roots. More roots more buds.
And always try to airate the tent well.

Hope this helps

Peace and love

Edit
if you dont have enough seeds for the sog I would wait until you selected a clone mother. In this case I recommend to grow 5-6 more bushy style plants for the selection run.
bushy plants grow best in bigger containers 5-10gal should be ok but bigger is better.
Bushy plants will also yield some popcorn along with the top buds because the lower parts of the lower branches do not recieve much light.

I totally agree^

In my case I went the opposite road
from indoor 》》》to outdoor

He will be happy with indoor growing bro.
outdoor he had to deal with uncontrolable enviroment.
comming out in the morning the plants dripping from morning dew in full flower a nightmare. Humidity high as hell in fall. Budrot and pm and no way to bring down rh or airate your grow area artificialy.
not to mention all the fucking gritters snails caterpillars bugs also a nightmare.
indoors I only had a spidermite problem one time.
give him a grow or two and he will be ok.

Peace and love bro
