sealed grow rooms..... WHAT?

sealed grow rooms ??????
how is this possible

where does the O2 go (the byproduct that plants make)

wouldnt the room fill up like a balloon and pop ( yeah i know not really, but you know what i mean) wouldnt pressure build up


i read about this on here somewhere, someguy claims he grow in a sealed growroom that he verver opens.......how
i need to know more
he claims that this way he never has to think about smells leek

It wouldn't "pop"

Plants breath in co2 and breath out o2 so there is never any build up, you're taking one thing and replacing it with another. Simple swap, no adding to it.

yup... and if u built a tent in a tent so u had a double door... very little air would escape when u go in and out... like a submarine

I heard about something like this where he used a heat sink to keep the box at room temperature... thatd be pretty tight... i dont thing its possible though...

Exhaust fan + Charcoal filter fan sucks air through the filter through ducting through the lights to cool it and exhaust nice clean air out some where else. While you should have another unit sucking fresh air in through a filter into the room.

no no no no , what i read is there is no intake or outtake the room is completly sealed
the lights are cool tubed- intake and outtake for the cooltube lights only, the room has a co2 gen. in it that is regulated and the room has a ac to control exsess heat and humidity
the room is sealed to help control pest and smell
its only opened so that you can do work in it- i read that this is how they do very large grow ops

has anyone else hered of this, or is this even pratical

co2 tank or co2 burner with a monitor controller

dehumidifier

is a sealed room control all enviorments

Yep, sealed room is possible. I've seen many grows done this way. It's the shit.

So if its sealed, what happens when the room runs out of co2?

You supply the CO2 needed. You can push it up way higher than normal this way, up to 1500 ppm, i believe, rather than the normal amount of 300-ish. Plants will grow faster and yield better in sealed rooms.

Plants breath in Co2 and release o2... So, they dont need fresh o2, they need fresh Co2... Your root zone is what breathes in o2 but they get enough from the plants expelling it themselves... You can only do a sealed environment if you are using Co2... Co2 kicks on in intervals or with the help of a controller to maintain 1500ppms... Temp and rh% are kept in check with a AC unit or a controller that only comes on when the temp or rh% is too high...
