I am trying to perfect my Four-way Hempy MINI-ScrOG system.
I have two ScrOGs flowering at any given time and I harvest every 5 or 6 weeks, depending on the strain and how good I was with the timing.
Here are a few pikkies of a recent ScrOG using 4 Magic Bud clones. Magic Bud seems to be a very leafy, loose budded plant and the ScrOG didn't produce a lot of weight but did produce a lot of light weight very frosty buds that I have been smoking for the last month and haven't used half yet.
... anyway, here are the pikkies ...
5th Jan - Four clones in individual small hempy pots (3 parts perlite : 1 part vermiculite)
14th Jan - All 4 clones planted in one large hempy pot
25th Jan
5th Feb - time to attach the screen.
The legs fit into small holes drilled into the corners of the pot, the screen is tied down with 4 pieces of string which all pull against each other making the screen very secure and unable to move.
I can pick up the pot by holding the screen.
5th Feb - Screen fitted
11th Feb
18th Feb - screen disapperaing
26th Feb
12th March
28th March - harvest time, trichomes just beginning to turn amber ... only about 1% or 2% amber.
Could have waited another week or so and vastly increased my yeild but I harvest for quality over quantity ... and I had the next ScrOG waiting for a flowering space.
I currently have a Barneys Farm LSD ScrOG which should be chopped in a week or two (has 7 days of the "advertised" flowering period left).
I have a second LSD ScrOG which is maybe 3 or 4 weeks behind the other one.
I have 4 Tangerine Dream clones just planted in the large hempy (4 clones w/- 9 tips each = about 36 colas) and the screen will be fitted in a day or two.
I have 4 Acapulco Gold clones, nicely rooted and getting prepared for the following ScrOG.
... and I have just popped 2 Pineapple Chunk which will be cloned for the ScrOG that follows the Acapulco Gold.
I am kept busy, popping seeds every 6 weeks and growing clones for my ScrOGs but once the Pineapple Chunk is up and running, I won't have to worry about sprouting seeds again for a while.
I have a 4 strain multi grafted mother (will be 5 strains when I add the Pineapple Chunk) so in the future I will just take clones from the mother and forget the seeds - saving time and space.
Mother is all Barney's Farm - Red Dragon, L.S.D., Tangerine Dream & Acapulco Gold (Acapulco Gold graft had taken and was powering away before the clones had rooted).
