nice green color there! im going to go aero/hydro with my next scrog set up, hows it goin with 2 so close? i was thinking about doing 3 in one of the bigger long rubbermaids under a 600w with a 3x5 screen i think. Im just trying to make it so i can pull it out of the closet, screen and plant mostly. Im going to put it all on a cart with wheels i think. I only have 1 plant in a screen right now that is stuck in the closet till i cut down and its kinda hard to get to the back to tuck branches down and stuff. And the room they are in has full sun for like 6-8 hours a day and my little plants love it ( i move them into the sun when im home) and i feel the bigger one is jealous lol. Im subscribed BTW so hopefully ill remember to follow though you journal. Your plants are a lot bigger then mine, How long did you veg? i did like 4 to 5 weeks veg from a clone i got from the store, but i took a couple cuttings off it when it was young(slowed growth) because i didn't like the look of it and wanted t try cloning( didn't work) . But yours are filling out that screen way more (probably because of your HPS compared to my CFL's) lookin like your going to get a nice harvest im going to guess somewhere around 4 - 5 Oz dry ( i like to be the first to guess lol). Good work man keep em growing. Oh ya BTW whats the temps like from that 400W, and what kind of ventilation you got goin on there? Im growing in a closet a little bigger so i hopping a 600 isn't to much for it, ive got 10 weeks till my current plant is done then im going to redo the closet so im trying to plan every a little better then my first grow.

look into the canna boost. its pretty expensive (like around $100 per liter, if i remember correctly) but it gives you the most frosty, dense, greatest tasting nugs you will ever find. very worth it in my opinion. i think you can buy a .25 liter bottle if you want to test it out.

i use it with the full canna line so i can speak for how it works with other nutes. but i know i have seen guys using it with non canna products with good results.

i thought it might be weird having them so close..

but i just kinda put my screen low (9in.) and bent them the opposite ways so they would spread out evenly.

and ohh man a 3 plant 600 watt sounds great! with a 3x5 is perfect too..im pretty sure. heres where i got most my info http://forum.grasscity.com/advanced-growing-techniques/48363-scrog-method.html

and the pulling out of the closet sounds really good and itd be really easy to take care of them!

i vegged for 35 days..yeahh im really glad your along for the grow! and the temps are usually around 70.

yeah i cant wait till you get you setup ready and goin!! i'll forsure be excited to see how yours goes!

so on Saturday (1st day of flowering) i got my flower max for dutch master advance.. because i never got it till it was needed haha..


and yesterday i also got
man i really wanted to try out the canna sweetener that dr. greenbum suggested but i didnt have enough funds =(

the plants are already like 3 to 4 inches above the screen now! heres some pics

Those things are gonna be out of control!

I like what I see (thick folliage). But I think you either waited too long to flip the lights, or didn't weave far out enough for as long as you've vegged.

Don't get me wrong... Looks good, and I'm sure you'll get a decent sized crop. Good luck!

How long has it been since witch to 12/12? You can LST pretty easy through the first 2 weeks of flower. Just keep tying down the guys that reach for the light (if any do). After 2 weeks the stems get woody and break easy.

Canopy looks nice and even regardless so I think its workin :)

i started flowering just on the 17th and todays the 19th so like 2days..

yea i am definitely gonna try LST for the first 2 week..because the plants are still bendy

man. i hope this work. thatd suck if i lose some yeild =/

but im still learning soo its all fun!!

how big of yield am i losing by flowering to late?

and also would i lose alot more yield if i cant lst?

because some of the stems are already woody =C

Yeah, don't worry about how much you'll lose. It's hard to say anyway. But look at it this way, for every square left unfilled, that's X amount of buds per inch². Not a big deal. But you'll not have any wasted space next time.

im just high. they look healthy. and uhhhh tell me what you think... i also was wondering what make it bad to flower late? like is the plant not gonna get enough light or is it just gonna become un even?? soo yea sorry if thats a stupid question too =P but yea thanks!!

It's not "bad" to flower "late". It's all relative.

I said you flowered late due to the relative size of your plants to your screen and grow area. It's pretty hard to actually flower late. But it is easy to flower late for your own application. When you're confined to size and space, it's a balance of veg and flower to maximize your yield for the amount of space you have. In short, you time when you start to flower so your plants finish within the amount of space alloted. If you flower "late", your plants may overgrow your space and you may have to top during flowering, which WILL reduce yield again.
