Well It's getting close to that time and I thought I would bring some DIY results to the table.

Please leaves the attitudes at the door, don't have anything productive to bring then don't be a part of this thread. As long as you can play nice you are more than welcome.

Strains:
Bodhi Sunshine Daydream and probably Purple Widow by Provision Seeds

Areas:
x2 33x16x60" poly cabinets from Lowe's

x1 3x3x6' Tent for males and when temps get unbearable

Lighting:
x1 5000k Veg panel with x3 top bin cxa3070s- ranging from 700mA-420mA, ~46-90w (I'll have to double check the draw later on)

x1 3000k/665-670nm/5700k flowering panel with x8 cxa3070 ABs, x11 xpe photo reds, and x8 xpl cool whites, all top bin driven anywhere from 700-350mA, 113 - 280w, again I'll post pics of draw down the road.

x1 clone fixture made of 6 xml2 6200k stars driven at 16-0w

x1 Apache Tech AT200 3:2 WR for the tent

Bells and Whistles:
Vortex S-Line 6" for the flower cab

Variac Transformer to control fan speed without any hum, dead silent. So nice

Presh filter on the S-Line

No name 6" fan on the 3x3'

Green Gator Filter inside the 3x3

BLUMATS, got my package in last night. 5 dripper package for ~50 bucks. These will be used exclusively in the flower cab unless I can get another bulk head for the veg area.

Other than that... I don't think I'm missing anything.

O...

ROLS. Ditched the hydro for simplicity's sake. Tired of 10 gallon res changes and ready for some quality herrrrb. Green friendly mix, call it vegan if you want, I just don't want any animal products (i know, fish and crab) in my dirt and adds to the sustainability given what I'm planting in the outdoor garden this year.

Mix of: Kelp meal, vegan mix, alfalfa, oyster shell, neem seed meal, fish bone meal, Langbeinite, crab meal, Boi live, peat and vermiculite.

Outdoor garden will have tomatoes cucumbers corn green beans carrots strawberries (in the raised bed) and bell peppers along with Stinging Nettle Yarrow Lambs Quarters and Comfrey along the perimeter to dry and create meals to amend my soils with. No more buying boxes.

Take care guys and I'll post what pictures I have on my phone now but actual grow updates will be about 2 weeks out.

Curious have you used that gator filter before? How do you like it compared to a standard carbon scrubber? Is it actually worth the extra coin?

Penguin humor is so last year........

@Scotch089 . What are you doing with the stinging nettle??
I'm gonna use it in teas mostly but I will dry it out and use it as a meal if I have enough.

So far going for 2 stinging nettles 2 yarrow 2 lambs quarters and 4 comfrey.

Most of them are either cell stimulants or bim stimulants but stinging nettle (along with the comfrey) contain the most nutrients according to the dynamic accumulator chart I saved compared to yarrow or lambs quarters

Thank you guys for tagging along, this is the group I love being here with. This will be a pheno hunt but honestly I'm worried that I'm not going to want to get rid of any of em. So keep your fingers crossed for a shit ton of fems and just a couple males for pollen.

The only complaint I have is how large they are, it won't fit in my cab. But the science behind them is awesome, much more surface area compared to the competition and the media used is soooo much nicer than having to prep carbon and blow em out a couple times before use plug and play.

So. Big update for those who know.

I had my last meeting for my probation a couple days ago. Got taken off the call in list for wizzzzz tests and do not have to have a final meeting to sign anything. He will be filing the papers on the 14th and I will receive a copy in the mail.

Fucking right on.

I'm basically off, but still technically on. He said if my address changes I have to notify him but other than that- it was nice meeting you.

12 days dudes.

In other news. Got my rototiller. Stinging nettle seeds, comfrey, and picked up my sweet corn green beans okra (for my gma) marigold seeds from the hydro shop. And ordered a nice 133 dollar RO.

This ball is catching some wind.

Didn't plan on having marigold, picked yarrow over them due to the lack of nutes in em, but I have deer pretty bad and found out they deter them and rabbits. I have a picture of 7 deer playing in my back yard. It's a regular thing and was my biggest concern for my garden.

So yarrow nettle comfrey lambs quarters and marigold will be my perimeter accumulators for the veggies.

Up first indoors is sunshine daydream, I'll run some purple widow for the provision comp and if I have space some gogi OG. Getting the space all prepped and ready.

There WILL be flaws in this grow. There always are. If you have a solution please speak up. The journals I throw up I swear always turn into a "what not to do" thread but let's hope for some nice healthy plants and great herb to toke on down the road.

So I figured I'd try and start updating this thing, shouldn't have created it so early but I was excited.

Just started germing some seeds a couple days ago of Sunshine Daydream from Bodhi (x4) let's hope for some chicks, no dicks. I have one or two sprouted above ground now, one still under dirt and another still waiting to Crack open and get planted.

I got a cheap RO that's taking my tap from 450~ down to 50 set up and a nice full res, went ahead and set up my Blumat System and raised the res up on blocks. I have them dripping away in some 3 gal pots to make sure I have them set up right. Then it'll just be swapping them into planted pots or planting in the current pots they're in.

Other than that... just tilled up my garden for outside for the second time, hoping to get all of the veggies outdoors soon. They are still under the xml2s in my clone chamber. Growing away.

Sweet corn, okra (for my grandma), green beans, stinging nettle, comfrey, lambs quarters, marigolds, and I think that's it... I'll edit if I forget one. All sitting next to the newly planted ssdd.

Outside I have the ever bearing strawberries (go dormant during the winter and come back) and some Roma Tomatoes, both already fruiting in the garden bed. I'll be planting some beefsteak tomatoes for a friend so he can have some fried green tomatoes. Gotta get on planting those.

Slow start and boring but I'm back at it! Shame I can't smoke, 5 days into being off probation j got moved into the next phase of a job application (phone interview - do you need a visa? Are you okay doing this, that? Etc) it went well so I'm already detoxing from the whopping five days of freedom I had. My current job pays well but new management is ruining the place and I'm about topped out on what I can do there without going back to school, the possible new job has an apprenticeship program that I will be busting balls to get into.

Four dollar pay cut right off the bat but I'm looking at the long term, take care guys! Glad the bullshit has died down lol

Boring stuff right now but wanted to keep everyone posted.

I originally germed 4 ssdd but whether it be user error (which was one) or just a dud (the other) I had 2 that didn't make it, almost three. One didn't Crack after 4-6 days in a papertowel, still a super thick she'll with no splitting. I wasn't planning to toss her but she fell down the drain... lol. May have been for the best. I planted the other 3 in Rockwool and straight into soil. Usually I set the blocks in my bubble cloner to guarantee moisture and probably should have stuck with what I know because I about dried out one- it was laying over on its and looked about gone. But after watering it bounced back and is just behind now.

Well, in the midst of all this I thought I may come out with only 1 out of 4 sprouting, so I germed 3 more. All are doing well and looks like I'll have 5 kids in this group. Hopefully that guarantees some chicks.

Also started hardening off the outdoor crops and the corn hated every second of it. It's still removing two days later and the green beans loved it. Hopefully by next weekend they will be in the groun, as long as it warms up and stops raining.

Update of the slowest growth on the interweb. Lost one to underwatering... watch that would have been the keeper. (butter cut)

Just fimmed the largest one (almost reacted instantly) which is significantly further ahead then her (hopefully) siblings, and just transplanted the others. Wonder what kind of yield can come out of 1 gal containers lol. O well. All four of them, plus a green bean plant under the flower panel at 400 umol. About 21" away at 112w

Back to praying... nice to see first thing in the morning.

In other news. I lost all my first tomatoes and some strawberry leaves to some deer. I mean, entire stems missing off my romas. So frustrating. Gonna have to experiment with human hair or noise makers of some sort.
