That is fantastic work M8.

I am stoked about starting pheno hunts, once I get some basic seeds for stock. Start looking for that ever elusive diamond in the rough. :eyesmoke:

Many Thanx for the updates bongsmilie

I'm so far impressed with how shit grows on shit. Hardest part is still to come, but so far I like what I see. I repotted the plants but the larger pots were were less larger than I expected. Hopefully it will be enough.

The tri female I popped a month or so earlier, sort of bonsai-ed:

The CH was pretty stable already besides the hazy and compact pheno difference. I'm not sure yet if my CHxCH is more stable, so far does seem to be the case, plants are all very similar. Just starting to flower though. Point is, now that it turned out I have so many whorlers, I may not need a lot of generations to increase that ratio further and since the CH is already rather stable there may be little benefit to backcrossing/inbreeding it further, possibly on the contrary. At the very least I still need 5 more grows after the current, and more likely 6-8. They'll be perpetual runs though, maybe next christmas.

Thanks guys :D I hope the end result will be worthy.

Few more pics.

First is a tri female with male next to it. Light bleached part is from a spot light, trying to get more realistic color than shooting in the dark. On hydro I need to be careful not to have too much N at the end of the transition else they get too dark green fast. I was a little worried I had overdone it with the wormshit but so far so good.

Tri male, some color on some of the balls.

^^freezing outside, didn't close the window properly last night, temps got down to 60f for a few hours...

RH is 41% (during normal temps and light on), which is almost as good as it gets for me and why I like a winter grow. Would be nice to have this weather during the last couple of weeks. Haven't topped the plants (except the one above) because I want to see their structure and how they respond to being crowded so will probably have a few main colas that in sep/oct would have a high bud rot chance.

Ok, removed the males from the closet, got 13 females left, time for a group shot:

Tallest along the sides, shortest in the center. Favorite three are on the right. Left in the back I snapped the main stem 90degree, cause it got too tall, but apart from that I just puzzled it into a field sort of. Need to remove several to pollinate and I found taking them all out is easy, but getting them all back in.... I could throw away a couple of plants that I'm not going to use for seeds (non-whorled) but I'll get plenty of bud either way and RH is still ideal so keeping all 13 for now.

Nice to see only white pistils, means I haven't been too careless harvesting pollen over the past days/week.

I come peek at your journal every now and again. Love how your plants look. That last pic here Im looking at as i type looks like some alien plant brought here, well, by aliens. Sometimes I just sit in my grow room and gaze at my plants wondering what they are thinking....:eyesmoke:

My favorite tri at the moment. Whorled from 4th node, relatively short internode spacing compared to some others, and her pompons actually look a bit larger than on the others plants.

Figured 1st of Jan would be a good day to pollinate, hoping for gold/brown pistils over the next 48 hours. Happy new year folks and have a save night. It's 8:34 am here, time to go catch up on some sle

You mean yours don't telepathically speak to you?

Didn't plan to make this a daily update thing but it just never gets boring taking pics, might as well post some. Wish the admin would install the album feature in the forums...
