Sativa Vegging

So im going to be running a sativa dominant strain in my RDWC system, with Inidca dominant strains i only veg for 2 weeks and they turn out to be an nice with a decent yield with no other forms of training with plenty of room etc.

Was thinking perhaps some form of training would needed with this SSD
my tent is going to be pretty packed so wondered in peoples experience how long you think i should veg for and should i introduce to some LST/TOPPING/FIM. i dont want to grow trees, and i want to keep vegging time to a minimum as you know with RDWC its explosive growth.

Basically i was going to wait for the 4th set of nodes, then FIM. then tie those 4 "potential" new colas down... once they have reached the tie down point and start to point upwards again change to 12/12

keeping the plant low and bushy

or should i just wait for the 4th node, fim, wait a few days then flower?

I need to get ECSD. The original, the official, east coast sour diesel. There is no other strain out there that is SO specific in taste other than ECSD IMO.

Ill have to do more research on Dr greenthumb. $150 for 5 beans is pricey but not totally unreasonable for quality gear. Only thing that bothers me is you have to pay $35 expedited shipping to guarantee their delivery. Their free delivery is listed as "at buyers risk" if im dropping $30/bean shit better arrive.
