sativa/indica bullshit classification.

Anyone ever notice how..when you want to buy weed..it really pisses me off how sativa is classified as mids and not the good shit because it "doesn't get you that high" no. Its because its a completly different kind of marijuana and that's the kind of high its supposed to give you. And the "good shit" is always indica due to its heavy stoning effect. It really puzzles me that half the people that smoke marijuana are that clueless to single out a type of weed because of its high and classify it as mids when in all reality its not mids just a different kind of high. People are so god damn stupid. I feel like you shouldn't even be allowed to smoke until you know what indica/sativa actually are and not categorizing one as mids and one as super bomb shit just because they have two different highs.

I know what you mean. I like sativas better myself. I have a great Kali Mist pheno and I always chuckle when I smoke someone up for the first time who doesn't get the difference between indica and sativa highs. They start out talking about how it's decent weed but not as good as this weed or that weed, just making conversation, of course. Then a toke or two more than they should have taken, reality starts to set in. They start to spit and sputter. They lose their train of thought mid sentence. That's when school is in session.

Most poeople don't have access to good quality sativas, so they only really know good indicas. Once they tie into a good sativa though, they generaly change their tune.

I'm more of a sativa kinda guy..indicas make me freak out over everything. But sativas put me right in the zone..I mean its crazy all the people around here (ohio) only smoke indica and they think its really really good shit. When in fact it was probably grown shitily and not cared for..so they just keep smoking the same shit thinking its super awesome because its better than the sativa mids. When in all reality they probably don't even know that there are two types and they think that the high they get from sativa is just shitty weed. And the high they get from indica makes them feel more fucked up so they automatically assume its the best weed there is. Really irritates me.

Haha and that's pretty funny man. They just think their stuff is better than ours but I think sativas should be more dominate even though it takes longer to grow and harvest. imo its just better weed better high for me.

what sativa's have you been growing?

My guess is sativa dominant hybrids. Not many true sativas around....

OH......IO Right here too, brother. I liken the two to whiskey (indica) and wine (sativa). Each has it's own place. If you want to get hammered, whiskey is your drink. However, if you are looking to hang out and have a stimulating adventure, wine is the choice of pros.

Exactly droopy ohio man I don't know if this is the best state for weed;p and I am growin the original skunk#1 my dad has been growing for twenty years he gave me a few seeds and said it was sativa dominant. Although I'm not positive its pure sativa . I was growing bag seed but the plant died and now I'm growing that he also has a few other strains probably have to ask him about them I know one is royal dutch but I don't know the other one.

sativas that have refined and selected genetics, grown by good growers, wont be mids. but if your talking about landraces and shit like they grow in bulk and is often naturally pollinated, yeah thats mids.

it might have sativa genetics but for the most part not the best genetics. do you know how long it would take to clone all the best plants for a grow the size a cartel does?

they sow seeds, and any seed at that, the best they keep for selves, the rest they bulk package and ship to USA, 100% pure Sativa Bullshit! thats mids. but if i grow some, lambs-bread, g13haze, or some C99, you wont be telling me thats mids.

if your state ever goes medical you'll learn the terms daytime meds and night time meds. sativas obviously for daytime use, indicas (such as skunk #1) for night time use. personally I've never gone along with the "meds" part but you know.

sensi indica and sensi sativa both, if grown in the USA, are shit, both for daytime and night time, depending on the strain.

Well its not even about the mids or the grade of it. It just makes me mad that people who smoke don't even know what they are smoking. If you put a sativa bud and a indica bud infront of a random person and told them to tell you which one gets you higher. They are going to pick the indica (assuming they don't even know what indica or sativa is or probably never even heard of them and just assumed that the weed they have been smoking is better) and automatically classify the sativa as mids. Because they do not know what a truly homegrown well cared for sativa is. So when you bring a sativa around they'll tell you you're weed is pure cow shit. When it really isn't. Makes me want to smack a hoe.

And honestly. Fuck the night time day time stuff. I wanna smoke something that makes me feel good. Not freak out and feel like I'm fucking dying. Sativa is something I could smoke 24/7 and be fine. Well with indica. Everyonce in a while. But the thing is I can't buy sativa here unless I want the shitty mids. Which is why I usually have to resort to indica to get my fix. Which it really shouldn't be like that. So that's my whole reason on growing my own all my hard work and love will pay off in a nice beautiful sativa that will put me right where I want to be

Glad to know I'm not an educated smoker. I mean I'm not the master weed man. But I do know enough to go about my day and know that sativas deserve more respect than they get.

haha thats why we all smoke, but you got to play by the rules to get what you want in this world, just kinda how it works :/

grow your own for sure! stay away from the shit you got to buy on the streets, bad for your health even that good indica shit could be some BS. what strains you growing right now?

(but dont get too down on the indicas some would surprise you, very enjoyable highs not sleepy at all. and then there are hybrids, like super silver haze, one of my favorite sativa highs of all time)
