Sativa Harvest Question...

Would a sativa that has produced mature seeds by the 7th week of flowering be ready to harvest? It was pollinated on week 3 and the seeds fully matured and cracked out of their coverings by week 6. The plant seems somewhat void of activity now except for a few small buds popping up, but nothing substantial...It is 7.4 weeks in flower...I know that even quick harvest strains take 8 weeks. I have read sativa's take 9-12 weeks. But did the seed production change "the rules"? I will post pictures shortly, just curious what everyone thinks. Thank you for any help

I guess you're in a hurry to use that room for somethig other than growing seeds. What did you cross her with? If you have the time let her go another 1.5 weeks but just pull one out look at her post the pic up.

Well I am in a hurry to basically do a "proper" grow now. I've learned my lessons and I want to do it right this time! The problem is that the bud from this plant has to hold me over through the next grow. I have a ton of clones ready to be put into flower so I would need the bud from these 2 plants to last me 2.5 months. I go through about 1/4 ounce a month...very light smoker but I like to come home and have a 1-2 tokes after work. So if these two plants can produce a half ounce, I'm a happy ass camper

Chopem and don't worry about the yield. I too had a bad sativa experience. Just not an indoor deal man. Hope you got some indicas for this round.

Nah I just have clones from this plant sadly enough. Was going to SCROG them under 400W...I personally don't like the "couch lock" high so I'd have to get some 60% sativa / 40% indica mix or something but I am paranoid to order to my house so this is what im working with....Think thats a bad idea, I am open to suggestions.

Also you said chop but do you think it is going to have any potency? Any smoke gonna come from that or just scrap em and start over?

scrap it looks like you got more seed then anything else
