Here are my Sannie's Sugar Punch trichome pics. At eight weeks exactly. Some amber. Yet it's a full week before the breeder's advertised minimum "ready" time. I'll be checking every day.

I still own a bunch of these seeds but hesitated to grow them out since yield was very questionable according to numerous grow reports I've seen . Quality was reported very high though......so, how was your yield???

Quality is very high for this plant.

Recently, my sister-in-law shared some of my Sugar Punch grow with her usual dealer, and he said it was on par with the best stuff he's gotten from Colorado.

He requested as much of my stuff as I could supply. But I just don't grow enough to supply my family and sell too...

Sugar Punch is fire. And inexpensive too.

Sorry, I forgot to answer your yield question.

Yield was only average, I guess. I grew 3 plants in 10-gallon smart pots, in Super Soil, in a 3.75 x 3.75 grow closet, under a 600-watt Super HPS, and got about 18 ounces.

That's pretty damn good for 1 600 watt light.........How long did you veg them for, 6-8 weeks I'm guessing???? I was going to do Breeders Choice "Mad Kush" next (also sold on Sannie's site) but I may re-think that now.... I'm also 3 weeks into flowering on my Big Buddha's "Blue Cheese" which is really looking nice too.

I grew from seed and vegged a good 8 weeks, until after they showed definite sexual maturity. My flowering room was occupied at the time, so I had no other choice. :)

How long did you flower these for??????? They look great by the way!
I've popped 3 different seeds of Sugar Punch so far and none of them are what I would consider light yielding. Actually they are pretty heavy IMO. I wasn't impressed with the smoke from the first two but this most recent one is great!

I guess my point is, what I've read, is if you veg them for a month- they would be considered light yielders. Almost any strain, if vegged for 2 months, would yield quite well. As a "for profit" grower, 2 months is almost out of the question for me for a veg period, so I'm back to the "Mad Kush" for my next grow. As for flowering time, most go 9.5-10 weeks on S.P.

Sugar Punch is a high yielding strain with the correct phenotype. It's also quite unstable. I have a 7 week phenotype. Seems like you found one that's simlar. It's done when it's done. I'd cut it now.

I chopped. I estimate the yield to be above average.

Don't forget to do a smoke report please!!!!!
I will do a smoke report. Thanks for asking.

This time of year is my least favorite time to flower, because of the heat. But it's my favorite time to dry and cure, because the humidity is high where I live, so slow drying is easy. So, it'll be 2-3 weeks of drying and curing, I'd guess.
