Sandwich maker as heating for small growcab

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to use a griller or sandwich makers heating element as a warmer for a small cabinet grow and how if it was done was it done actually want to connect it to thermostat that's in use to cool switch over at night to heat have the plate heat to a set temp turn off and radiate the heat stored in the plate to warm the area is this possible? Or am I wasting my time. All help wanted!!

Run your light at night when energy is cheapest and its coldest outside.
The heat from your light will be more than enough to heat a cabinet.
Most people have trouble getting rid of heat not making more.

And if your light isnt putting off enough heat, invest in a bigger light.
