If he was white with a black cop, I'd bet that cop would have his hand on the gun, immediately when he got the bottle and this guy answered like 8 times, I ain't got a drivers license. In other trials like this, the officer only needed to say that he thought he was in danger of his life. The courts almost always back this type of defense from the police. Not saying I'm good with it or that we should "just get used to it", I'm just saying...

None of the details of Sam Dubose's life have any bearing on the shooting, not only because it just has nothing to do with it, but the cop didn't even know anything about the guy. To say he deserved to be shot in the head because of his record is particularly asinine because what you're arguing is that police should make judgements about people's lives when they conduct traffic stops and decide whether or not to kill you. It is a complete disregard for all due process and human rights. If you argue in any way about Sam Dubose's record in defense of his murderer, you have forfeited any right to decry any authoritarian form of gov't. You have from then on identified yourself as either pro-fascist or pro-totalitarian. Whether right wing or left wing, you can't argue this way and also say you want to expand freedoms or rights.
