Same pot for photos?

Yo guys! On my second auto grow right now, but I'd really like to try some photoperiods next run. This may be a stoopid question for some of you, but it's the fool that doesn't ask, right? With the autos I've been germinating with paper towel method then putting straight into 11l pots. Can this be done with photos if I flush at end of each cycle (veg-flower)? Is it unadvisable or will it be sound as? I would prefer to use the same pot right through but if it will have any negative affect I will veg in smaller pot & transplant. Any advice appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Anyone else do this or is it better to transplant? Just thought it would be easier starting in final pots

i never have i start in cups then 1 gallon /3gallon/5 gallon ..... the reason why is i dont water till my soil is completly dry...so if im in a 3 gallon pot with a seedling the plants are going days without roots finding water...

i guess it would all depend on ur veg time tho but id still start in cups... i use styrofoam 16 oz cups. poke a circle of drain holes and one in the midde at the bottom of cup ... water once till i have drippage... dry out and look for roots in my drain holes.. if they are there (and this is why i use styrofoam) i gently cut a line down the side of the cup not quite all the way thru as i dont wanna cut roots...then i break the cup apart , and plant into my gallon... absolutely no shock at all ....like u would get from shaking or squeezing or tapping on ur rooted pots.

Potting up to larger pots will make a bigger root ball. There is a saying round here
"The bigger the root the bigger the fruit "
