Salvia Divinorum and the FDA in the US

This one is a long one guys sorry...

I recently became curious about the drug Salvia after the thousands of videos that I have seen on Youtube.com. I went to my local smoke shop here in MN and picked up various concentrations to play around with and do some research and experimenting with the substance. I started with 5x and only got the uncomfortable feeling of cold sweats, millions of needles poking my skin, and uncontrolled laughter. It was alright I guess but didn't really have that much of a trip sensation ya know. Anyway I moved on to the 20x and this is where it started to get fun, or well interesting. I used a 2 foot tall glass bong this time and packed 1/4 of a gram of GreenMonkey brand Salvia. I lit it up and sucked it all down in one hit, held it for thirty seconds, then exhaled. As I exhaled I could already feel something coming over me. Now bear with me it may get a little weird. I could feel myself being peeled back from existence, or it seemed like I was being pulled back away from "ME". My field of vision thru my eyes was like my doorway to my physical self... As I was peeled back or pulled back I got further away from myself and my field of view got narrower. I looked at my doorway as I got further and further away from it and noticed that there was a huge wall with thousands of doorways with the same field of view in each door. I thought to myself that I didn't want to lose the door that I went thru just in case the others were not the right one. I was still curious as to where I was going, and to what was pulling me. I tried to look behind me to see what or who was on the other side. I didn't get a good look at anything but darkness. Everything seemed as if I was floating thru space, there was no stars, no light, no gravity. I was just there being pulled backwards to something, or somewhere. I had a sense of fear come over me as I thought that I would lose my doorway to return to. And as that fear came over me I felt a snap and I Snapped back into my body as if I was fitting it like a glove. My friends that were spotting for me heard me say things like, "am I back?" "Am I all here?" "How long was I gone?" I wrote down the time that I took my hit, and the time that I was fully back and walking around. My trip seemed like it was maybe 15-20 minutes but the recorded time was only 6 minutes. This leads me to believe that maybe on the other side TIME is different. Anyway my experience last night with my girlfriend brought up another theory. I smoked a little bit with her and turned on my video camera so I could see what I did while I was tripping. She told me that I looked retarded. Of course after I watched the video, I looked, acted, and spoke like a person with a mental disability. This made me watch the video many times. I had a thought or theory that maybe a mentally disabled individual may exist in this realm of consciousness. Now thats just a theory, or maybe I am looking into it way to much. Ancients and Shamans used Salvia to induce altered states of consciousness, OBE's, and Astral Projection. It is called the "Divine Healer" or the "Diviners Sage". I will post more experiences and research as I get them documented.

Thanks guys, or and here is a little FDA info...
Salvia & The FDA Salvia Divinorum is legal in most countries around the world, including the U.S. apart from a few individual states. It is not regulated under the the Controlled Substance Act, however a few states including Delaware, Louisiana, Missouri and others, have passed their own laws. The Food and Drug Administration has not yet approved of Salvia Divinorum, however this can be attributed to many different reasons. Pharmaceutical companies cannot patent plants, so it is not in their best interest to pursue the potential uses of Salvia Divinorum.
The controversy over the psychoactive affects of smoking Salvia often overshadow the benefits that Salvia Divinorum has over other drugs, such as no known side effects, it is not habit forming, and there are zero deaths attributed to the use of Salvia, unlike many drugs already approved by the FDA.

Our Friend the FDA - Who are they looking out for?
Then you have Salvia Divinorum, which has tremendous potential, and no long term side effects, and yet it is not yet approved to treat any condition. Why? The answer is simple. The FDA is too close to the industry it's supposed to regulate. Pharmaceutical companies cannot patent Plants, so they cannot make big profits out of herbal medicine. Hence why, the FDA has always shut down any attempt to get an herbal medicine approved.
The FDA is "owned" by the industry its supposed to regulate. The pharmaceutical companies do not want cures. They want life-long customers. It's a business which relies on its customers to keep on getting sick, so they can keep on making profits. This is not a wacky conspiracy theory. This is a fact. FDA-approved prescription drugs injure 2.2 million and kill approximately 200,000 Americans each year, according to studies. Read this article for more details: Pharmaceutical Fraud.
This is a list of some of the many deadly drugs the FDA has approved over the years:
Pondimin/fenfluramine
Treats: weight loss, obesity
Side effects: pulmonary hypertension, heart valve disease

Seldane/terfenadine
Treats: seasonal allergies
Side Effects: heart problems

Duract/bromfenac
