Been struggling to find info on Sagar strains for a while. Interested in seeing replies. Western Winds, Matanuska Mint and Diamond head sound very special

Yeh they have a nice collection of Diesels. Apparently autos aren't the way to go yet, but that one does sound like it has some potency. Good out in the North.
Write ups about Sagar tend to be positive. Search smoke reports, might get a few

The only seeds I bought of them was Blueberry....

0 of 10 germinated

I don't think all their strains sell that well. Maybe email the shop first and ask which strains are "recent" or known good germ rates.

But then you might get a dishonest or non-reply from a seedbank wanting to dump inventory.

Thats bad to hear about the Blueberry, but it seems BB is finicky anywhere. Sagar may be a little more popular back in Holland

You sure you germinated them right? its rare to buy seeds from a breeder and all ten just straight up dont germ...

i know that this is an old thread, but i've been growing out some of sagarmatha's strawberry d lite, and it looks like its going to be pretty dank and has a lovely lovely strawberry smell in flower that i'm hoping will carry on to the finished buds as well.. very chrystally buds thus far, looks like a winner in my book..

Western Winds is one of my favorites and has been since it took 3rd place in the Cannabis Cup in 1999.

Sagarmatha is one of the breeders that I recommend regularly. The line is fairly large and offers a good selection. Matanuska Tundra is another in the line I like as is Mangolian Indica, Slyder, Bubbleberry and Blueberry Bud. There have been several others I really liked that I have not seen for sale for some time now but I have never tried a Sagarmatha strain that I was disappointed with. There are not many breeders that I can say that about.

there stuff looks primo, but it seems no one gives them a try
Sagarmatha suffers from the same thing that Reeferman suffers from, being one of the very best before many of today's growers were old enough to know anything about pot.

They aren't the new kid on the block, they aren't seen as the hot lick and most growers always think that whatever is new is always better. Every year the seed market is flooded with new mutt-strains, some by people who are pollen chuckers instead of true professional breeders, and for some inexplicable reason many growers actually believe the mutts are better than anything that is older, only because the mutts are new to the market and the growers are to new to growing to know any better. They pass up breeder lines with many very good older strains and a number of very good newer strains because they think they will be buying their father's Oldsmobile and they just won't do that. Instead they buy the new Kia grade genetics that gets all the hype and are foolish to think they made a wiser choice.

i am a bit dissapointed with the smurfberry. just the fact that it is no near being a auto flower. almost killed her due to the fact that my super lemon haze who is sativa dominant went flowering before my smurfberry, other than that i heard good rev about them...will oribably order a few strains from them next time
