Rust spots on fan leaves during flowering?

Hello, I have been growing indoors for quite a while now and I have not seen this problem in any of my plants before. I have attached pictures of what is happening.

The problem is only occurring on the older fan leaves near the top of the plant (for now). Newer growth and growth lower down doesn't seem to be affected (yet).

The plants are grown in Ocean Forest potting soil and I use Earth Juice fertilizers (Grow, Bloom, and Micronute). I always check the water pH before watering to make sure it is around 6.5. I do add all my fertilizers and things to the water first and then adjust pH at the end before I water.

I do not have a soil pH tester or the money to buy a good one (since I've heard the cheaper ones do not work well enough to rely on). I'm hoping if this is a soil pH problem someone could tell me based on the pictures if it is too high or too low so I can try to correct it.

I have 2 plants that have been treated exactly the same since they were cut from clones, given the same dirt, water, and ferts, but only one of them is showing this problem. The other plant looks perfectly healthy.

The problem seems to start as tiny rust-colored spots near the veins of healthy fan leaves (see picture 1 below) and it progresses to much larger rust spots along with yellowing and curling/twisting up (pics 2-4).

If anyone has any ideas as to what might be causing these spots, please let me know, or if you need more information than I have provided in order to figure out what is wrong.

Thanks for reading and helping if you can!

ph to high, take it down to 5,9.
the spots seems like KALIUM (sorry don't know the word)
-trying to explane what to do: iff you have a 11 liter containes take 3x11 liter water and give that to the plant in 1 time (don't know the name i think FLUSCHING)
start over with a ph 5,9 and low nutes.
other: go to the shop and buy kalium , looks fine white stones they have sort of salt.

Thanks for the reply. Calcium is the word you're looking for, and that is indeed the problem. I flushed the plant already and am in the process of fixing the problem.

However, Calcium locks out at pH 6.4 and lower, so I cannot take it down to 5.9. That is too low for growing in soil. This is happening because my pH is too low, not too high.

I'm never using fox farm ocean forest again. This happened to me as well. I even added flour dolemite lime. It is a terrible soil. Also, it's not inoculated so if the customer doesn't add mycorrhizal then all those complex organic nutrients can't be broken down and then taken in by the plants.

if ur at 6.5, ur not locked out yet, thats where u wanna be....this can be solved by watering with epsom salts or any other kind of nutrient high in mg/c....i think companies skimp on calcium in their mix cuz there is plenty in tap water

I wouldn't put anything into your soil (except ph'd water) until the plants begins new growth (or 5 days). Instead foliar feed with 2tsp:1pint espson salt. This will solve any mag def, but not calcium as epson salt is magnesium sulfate. Remember to spray the underside of your leaves. I use distilled water to spray. One application epson salt then one application distilled water. The second application distilled water will help break down any residual salts that build up on your leaves. Also, spray in the morning about 20 minutes before your lights go on. Don't spray then let them bake in under an HID.

So you do ph earth juice before feeding them?? everywhere i read, it said not to ph. Just pore in and organic soil microbes would buffer or w/e. So i havent been phing my EJ, and also grow in ffof. 2 weeks flowering and NOW I HAVE HUDGE PH PROBLEMS!!!

some kind of nutrient toxicity. If its only one plant make sure u mix ferts thoroughly in water as oneplant can get more than the other.I'd reduce nutes by 25% on that plant and the new growth should be healthy.

I have the same problem did you ever find out what it was?
Yeah... I was ludicrously high the entire grow and failed to realise I was feeding the girls too much and I believe a ph lock out.. test your run off water for ph and ppm.
Chuck some pictures up mate.
