Running out of room in my box

I've got four auto flowers in a 10 gal DWC, growing in a 3ft grow space. One will hit the top in the next few days. I'm bending/training but it's way too late to stop it from hitting the top. I really have no choice but to let it just go, will this be bad for the plant in any way?

You can top them, then start to flower if your far enough into the cycle. Just an idea.

I've read about supper cropping. Maybe you can try that? Just don't know if it is done with tops. But if there has not developed serious bud on the top why not to try? better than chopping it off.

Is there any actual downside to just letting the plant hit the top of box.

I have never done it, but as long as its not growing into the light, the buds will deform some but i really don't see a big issue with it.

Definitely Super Cropping would be the best way to go and tie the branches down.

Where does your light stand! Please post picture that we can understand how the box looks. Downside for letting the plant to hit the roof is that it doesn't reach light anymore. Plant won't understand where the light is coming from if bulb will be lower than top. usually there is light at the top of the box. where does your light is if you want to let it grow to the roof? won't it reach the light and get burns? check out super cropping on youtube. it is not as bad as it looks. I snapped couple branches during my last training (not on purpose) but they recovered in couple days. I don't think your plant would do differently.

auto's should not be topped! stresses them and could potentially harm plant.

super croppin sounds like a good idea to me

heres a pic of the box. as you can see, that one big guy just keeps growing right into the roof lol. is it too late to try to supercrop? If you can see, I've already started bending down the tall plant to avoid the lights

LST it. Get some yarn. Get scissors and something small and sharp like a pen. Make a hole in the side of the pot near the top, (if you can clip something stable near by you don't need to cut holes in your flower pot). Tie a knot around the main stem at the bottom near the soil and tie through the hole/ clip on. Make sure it's not bending the plant, that its just holding the plant stable. On the exact opposite site make another hole in the flower pot. Tie another string of yarn around the desired area you'd like to bring down. Slowly tighten the yarn through the opposite hole and tie it down.

Usually people recommend using yarn or a metal clothe hanger. It works.
