Hey fellow lovers of the GANJ, this is my third grow operation. That being said its the first one where i put this much effort and $ into it, the first two were when i was a teenager. It's been a long battle up to this point , hence the title of this journal. I'm trying to get the phattest nugs i possibly can and i know that you good folks here at RIU can help me out with that. So you guys are more than welcome to tag along and all comments , tips, and criticism is welcome. Here we go!

Strains : 1 gsc , 1 afghani kush (so i was told)begining.jpg begining 2.jpg begining 2.jpg
Soil: 50/50 mix of FFOF & Happy Frog
Techniques: SCROG (1st time) super cropping , and topping
Nutes: General Organics Base line and Bio Bud
Light: 1 600w Led
Grow space: 5x4x3 grow tent (craigslist $30 SCORE)

About 1/2 way thru veg i realized i had a spider mite problem
sprayed the shit outta them with azamax and had some lady bugs roaming around in there for a few weeks.
should have kept spraying because i hadn't realized they were back until
after i flipped the switch which was less than a week ago.

12/13/16 : lights out for 36 hours
12/15/16 noon lights back on 12/12
12/16/16 :realized spider mites were back did some spraying & pruning
12/18/16 sprayed with dish soap and fed GO Bio Thrive Bloom

curling.jpg so in my war effort against the mites i sprayed them down dawn dish soap. Not doing that again , my plants didn't like that at all . All the new growth came in curled , uneven and wilted.

Besides the curling and wilting i realized i had some sort of nute deficiency or toxicity , so i flushed them down . I ph'd my runoff and its at about 6.8 and after some research it seemed that i had a cal mag deficiency, so i added some from the GO line. The last pick is of a leaf that looks like a middle finger. i thought it was funny but its also one of the leaves with the more extreme curling.

Ok so fast forward to 1/1/17 (Happy new year guys:bigjoint:) All new growth seems to be coming in normal, no wilting or curling i'm at week 3 day 4 of flowering, continued spraying with azamax and habanero pepper concoction. Starting to see the first signs of nuggage, hopefully the mites are gone . I will remain on high alert. These pics are from a few days ago, i cant wait to see my babies (been outta town for a couple days for the holiday).
