Round 2! 1000W 4x4 SCROG of White Widow!

Well I hate to bring this update, but it's gotta be said. I am going to have to stick to 1 tent with a single 1000w light for now. I was worried about having a place to process the bud when it's ready, and also worried about my cooling capacity right now. So the autoflowers will go in the second 4x4 tent with the HPS turned down to 400 or 600 watts. Even with only a single 4x4 scrog, I should be able to pull over 1 1/2 pounds based on my last grow! This White Widow has some bad ass phenos to be found!

At least you still get one tent. Better than no tent lol. Keep up the good work!! I've still never tried growing an autoflower myself. Do you have good luck with them? What flower hours do you have yours? 18/6? Sorry, I'm an autoflower nube lol.

I've also never grown an autoflower before, but I've read that giving them 20/4 is best.

Good to know about the 20/4. Every now and then I get sent a free autoflower seed, but I usually give it away or end up not ever getting around to germinating it. My buddy ran one on 12/12 with his other normal females. Regardless of being under 1200 watts of HPS, the thing didn't yield squat. I also am kind of weary of running an HPS 20 hrs a day, but then again, I'm in a pretty warm climate. I'm sure your ventilation is set up efficiently so you shouldn't have to worry, at least from what I've seen.

So in my opinion, as long as you can put it under the 20/4 light cycle and not a stupid 12/12 (my buddy is an idiot LOL) I'm sure they will be freaking awesome! I'd rather germ a bag seed and hunt for hermies than put an auto flower under 12/12. It just looked like it grew under a few CFLs haha. I will say the quality/smell/taste was some of the purest citrus flavor I have ever smelt or tasted from a strain, and it was an autoflower.

My other buddy did his auto flower the right way for his first grow and yielded 1.5 dry ounces from one plant with a 250 watt HPS. It was one solid cola! That strain was La Diva. It was also a little stronger smell wise than most other 12/12 buds I've smelt. That's probably my favorite thing about all the auto's I've seen, is the terpenes/hydroterpenes (smell/taste).

Good luck to you! I'm excited to see what they look like throughout their lives. Is the GCrack a GC autoflower? I think you said you were running a GC.

Yeah, autos rely a lot on the light to pack on the weight. I'm mainly growing the autos to try some different varieties and see what I like. And the Green Crack I was running was a regular (photoperiod) strain, it's from SickMeds seeds, and it's an S1 of the original green crack. Unfortunately the seeds didn't germ, and they're sending replacements but they'll be here too late. So for now I'm only running BCseedking White Widow, and then in the other tent that was for the GC I'm putting the autoflowers in there.

I spent yesterday building the new RDWC bucket system, and today putting together the ducting for the lights, filling nutrients in the new system, and building the SCROG net for the girls! Tomorrow I can hook up the carbon filter and change the ducting around a little bit, and then I can move the plants to the new buckets and SCROG them! Yay!

Here's the new bucket system. Only difference is they're closer to the center.

Here's the girls before the move. They're getting big and branchy, perfect!!

Here they are after the move. They're gonna need some trimming, and then it might be time for flower!! Sooner than I thought!

And here's my autoflowers. Unfortunately I never thought to ask if these are feminized autoflower (I assumed they are), but they aren't. So I'll have to sex em. Hopefully I come out with at least 1 female per strain!

And here's some more autos I started. Same thing, they're not feminized :/ I'm thinking of buying some feminized autos from someone just to fill out the tent even more (they'll be going into one of the 4x4's).

The good news: I dropped the scrog net on the plants! The bad news: I DROPPED the scrog net on the plants! They're relatively okay though, and they'll heal fine. Obviously I'm gonna wait a little while before I try to maneuver the branches. But it's looking like we'll be in flower within a week!

Here's the autos. They're looking good, but they obviously want the HPS.

Here's the seed. 1 isn't popping, and the others are looking a little funky.

And here's the SCROG. I did some major defoliation, and the screen looks much more bare but also more manageable.

Well I think the mold was just me being an idiot. I had almost no air flow at all and my plants were not defoliated enough. This time around I'm gonna do things smart! A pound will make me happy, 2 will make me really happy! lol

Hey guys, I'm looking into CO2 burners and I have a couple questions. First, does the Titan Ares 2 have an electronic start? And second, I have 2 "open" tents in my grow room. Technically the grow room is like 250 sq ft. but the tents themselves are only 32sq ft combined. So when I set up the burner, I should at first run it for a couple minutes (to fill the whole room with CO2), and then put it on a cycle timer for 20 seconds every 20 minutes (to maintain the CO2 level)?

Here's the SCROG! Looks like I might need to flower today or tomorrow!!

The autoflowers on the other hand... I have no idea what the fuck is wrong with these... The seedlings won't grow, the seeds won't sprout, and the mature plants won't show sex. The leaves on the autos feel dry, but aren't like crispy dry. And they're being watered plenty, honestly more than is recommended... I just got some Nectar for the Gods so I might try feeding that and see if it helps them...

The SCROG is officially going into flower on the next dark cycle!!!

On the other hand I have no idea what's up with the autos. The ones in soil are about the same as they were, but 0 of the seeds have sprouted. I actually pulled the seeds out of the root plugs (nothing to lose right...) and none of them had even cracked open! My germination conditions are honestly about as perfect as they could be, so I don't know what the hell the problem is.

Fuck yeah just took 24 clones from the SCROG!! Nice big thick clones that just weren't reaching the canopy. I've decided to scrap all the autos and just run a Sea of Green of White Widow in the other tent! Hoping for 16 rooted clones. I took 6 from each plant in the SCROG, since I don't wanna rely on one unknown phenotype!

Also just changed the timer over to 12/12 and put in the HPS bulb! EXCITING!!!!
