Just started a batch of Tea. Used a handful of worm castings in a stocking, a little Mycogrow, and a spoonful of molasses. Brewing 2 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket.

I'm trying to decide if I should add another tent and run some Green Crack... The smoker side of me says hell yeah but the finance side of me says that's $800 or so. Time to think about it

So, the girl are growing pretty fast!
100_2822.JPG
And here's their roots! The brown/black is worm castings, and the ones that look like they have short roots were taken out of the net pot, so the roots are curled inside the net pot.

And the 1/4" drip lines I had running to the buckets were just not good enough, and they were leaking. I switched that out for 1/2" tubing to each bucket.

Just transplanted the girls into the RDWC, and at the same time had a blowout in the black hose. I think it's just how the elbow went through the grommet, there wasn't enough of the barb for the hose to grab on. I modified the grommet and it all fits well now. Can't wait to get the lights running on 240v and get everything all wired up!

Here's the girls! I defoliated them, and they just got over their transplant shock so they're booming!!

And here's the Sickmeds Seeds Green Crack seeds! They're a Green Crack S1, which is as close as I can get to true green crack since I don't have access to clones.

Hey guys I've got a bunch of autos on the way, and I'll have about 2x3 feet to grow them in, and like 3ft till they hit the lights, so that's 3 feet for whatever they're growing in, plus the plant.

So my options are growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest in cut down 2 liters or small pots, or growing in a DWC. And I've got 5 strains I wanna run and probably 2 plants of each strain. So what's my best option for that space?

Okay so I'm gonna run them in soil, with FFOF with a pocket of Fox Farm Happy Frog in the middle so the babies don't burn. Will I need to fertilize ever? If so, how much and when? And what PH do I feed?

So my recommendation would be to grab some light warrior or an extra bag of perlite . you want to do the bottom half of the pot ocean forest mixed with heavy perlite and the top half all happy frog mix with light warrior and little perlite . Let the beginning roots develop for and then ocean forest will get them going when they need it ! Airy enough drain properly and promote easy root growth . I'll be doing this my next run .

Okay so I'm going with the Fox Farm Ocean Forest with a pocket of Happy Frog for the young seedlings to not burn. I understand that I won't need nutes for about 3-4 weeks? But what should I feed with after that? I have the GH 3 part nutrients, or should I feed something organic? GH's General Organics? And how much of what would I need to feed?

Well 6 days later all of the Green Crack seeds have popped roots, but none are poking tap roots through the cubes yet, and one of them are above the surface. So far these aren't seeming very promising...

7 days and still no luck... I might have to try to carefully take them out and put them into a wet paper towel or a Rapid Rooter instead.

Well I pulled up the seeds because it's not like it can hurt. One had sprouted and spread the cotyledons, but it was wrapping its root around itself.
100_2841.JPG 100_2843.JPG
And the other 3 hadn't even sprouted... What a wonderful breeder (sarcasm).... In contrast half of the seeds I got from Shay (http://naturesweetnothings.webs.com/) have sprouted in 36 hours, and she's a single person growing for fun. My White Widow from BCSeedKing.com have also had a 100% germ rate. Not advertising for either company, just sharing my observations.

I carefully put the one with the leaves in a rapid rooter, and the 3 that didn't sprout plus the 1 extra I had are in a wet paper towel to hopefully pop a damn root.... Unless they overnight me some seeds or something, I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

On a positive note, let's take a look at those seeds from Shay that I mentioned earlier! I got a whole bunch of seeds from her, but the ones I'm growing right now are all the autoflowers I bought. I've got 5.

Her own experimental breed "White Lights" (northern lights X white widow)

Cotton Candy Kush: The picture got corrupted but it's similar to the Amnesia Haze. There's one big seed with a root and one runt without a root.

She sent a couple runts, and I tried to pop those first just to get them used. If they don't pop I'll let her know but it's not a huge deal.

Well this grow is on a deadline and I'm 1/5 on the Green Crack.... Guess I'm running even more White Widow. Not complaining because WW is bomb as fuck but I kinda wanted a variety... Oh well.

I'm gonna take some clones from the WW I have now, and hope they root pretty quick.

I took the WW clones yesterday. I took 8, so I should get at least 4 rooted ones. I got a response from Sickmeds and now I kinda feel like an asshole for talking shit about them. It sounds like they might make it right after all.

Well, the girls are looking healthy, and all of the autos have their first set of true leaves. All of the Green Crack were duds, but Sickmeds Seeds has sent me out 5 replacement seeds for free, which is pretty cool of them since most companies don't guarantee germination! And Shay from Natures Sweet Nothings says she shipped me replacements for the runt seeds I got, even though I told her I haven't actually tried germinating most of them yet. Awesome service in this industry! I only wish Quantum and BlueLab would learn.....

Looks great! Would love to see how that GC turns out. It's one of my fav's; I just never have the height I feel it requires.

Well I'm on kind of a time crunch so I'm only running the GC if it gets here relatively soon. If not it'll have to wait until my next grow. And you can usually use a SCROG to keep plants smaller (and increase yield!)
