Im 11 days into vegging.

i am running a DWC with a res temp of no higher than 18degrees at its peak and room temperature no higher than 26 degrees. 5.8 ph and i dont currently have a EC/PPM reading for you.

i am running Canna aqua vega with rhiztonic

some of the roots are in the bottom of the bucket and are fully developed to like a fist full and some aren't even out of the bottom of the nets, why is that? there's only 3 out of the whole lot but i am looking to flower soon but am waiting for these to touch the water. is there any way i can help them along? are the pebbles stopping them developing? any ideas.

I just take water from drain and pour and let it run down the netpot several times a day, took 3 or 4 days and roots finally reached res water surface......

they are 11 days.... i got impatient and removed the plants from the net pots. it looks as if the cubes have rotted the roots. as there are none at all coming out from them

I've attempted to convert a aerogarden into a cloner. I put two air stones in the res and added a root stimulate. Cuttings are right at the top of waterline in the bubble action. Only been 3 days but one cutting has a very thin looks like spider web string off the bottom. Since I've never really seen a cloner up close, do the bottom of the clones touch water or just mist....?
thx..

I agree with the cloner.

I made one with a cheap pump, 5 gal bucket and lid and 2inch netpots with neoprene sleeves.

Start seeds in paper towels until tap root is an inch or two long and put the root down and the seed casing above the neoprene. Works much easier, then once roots are long enough, about 1 week transfer to the pots.
