Roots growing on top of soil

Have not seen this before, seen some posts in Google search but no definitive reason for it, the plants seem healthy and they get plenty of water
Are you flowering? Are you able or wanting to up-can them?

If your not flowering and you have the room, you may consider the larger pot based on the size of the stem and the roots showing.
If your flowering, then, I would also say to throw some soil over them. :peace:

No big deal just toss alil more medium on there and yer good to go. Adventatious roots are good it means you have healthy rootbound or close to rootbound plants you could even think about transplanting if you are that concerned or are worried about pot space.

Still in the veg stage,Like I say they are healthy and big, could be I was just washing the soil away like someone said but they seem close to the surface. i put Clay pellets over the soil now.

roots have already grown out the bottom and into the soil below.

So long as they have grown into the soil below that should be good enough to not have to transplant eh?
