Root bundles knotted together, any advice?

I have a couple plants that weren't quite flourishing day 43 into flower. I was going to leave them as they are at the bottom and not really a concern, i was going to just keep them for hash but now they are starting to wither away and die from the lack of light.

Any advice on how to remove them the best way without contaminating the res with dead roots?

They are all fused together and im afraid that if i just chop them out the remnants of the dead ones will rot away and cause root rot for the rest.

how long do the rest of them have?

can you just chop the bud nodes and let the plant live on for a while till the rest are ready?

never grew with a setup like that so i really dont know just thinking of what i would do.

No i can't, one of them the main stem is dying all of the way..i may be able to remove it without the worry of contaminating the rest, but 2 others might make it through until the end. I have 6 currently with one dead and 2 more on the way to dying, im not worried about getting a yield out of them because they are just taking up space and haven't produced anything substantial! My main girl is growing great i'm thinking i will get about a half to full lb.

Welcome to hydroponics.
I love hydro, easy, great yield, taste..you can't beat it. I have never tried this bubbleponics setup and wont go back to it unless i do 2 max per tub and 25 gal is to much...i will make another and partition the middle so i dont end up with knotting.

I had a plant break off with 3 inches sticking out the top of the net pot,I was worried about it rotting in the res but couldnt remove it so I decided to let it be and keep an eye on it,well the roots are doing fine they havent died and are healthy, now keep in mind this was a healthy plant when it broke off so you may have other issues I say this because I have had plants that were not getting alot of light and they never died on me but they didnt harvest much either, the roots of the wilting plants may be because they cant get enough o2?

Thanks, yea i have one that the main stem has rotted all of the way up, i didnt want to do a flush until it was time to harvest, but i may have to in order to get some of the dead roots out. As for the other 3 they have talon clawed most of the large fan leaves and produced buds the size of marbles at best. Most of the pistils have already shown signs of apathy and are wilting away. I have 3 airstones that have provided enough o2 for the large "breadwinner", so i don't believe that is an issue.
