Hey Guys, I Have always used foxfarm In Veg and Flower But recently I got 2 Bags from a Local grow shop in Michigan, Everything was alright at first, I even Transplanted a few of my big plants when i first got the soil and no issues. Then Out of thw same bag i Transplanted healthy clones into Small containers, After only a few days i noticed Infesting white bugs with Little Intena Like Spikes coming out of there front. I Seperated the small ones from The others and Feed them sns 203 and A few home mixtures iv had success against pest with in the Past But NOTHING would Help. Now today I go out into my Garagw where i stored the bags and Investigate. The bag i had been using is infested of Course But the bag that was unopened was Infested as well. Im starting to thing They are purposly tampering with This soil. Or It must be where i stored them. Where did you guys store your Bags?

I picked up a bag of Happy Frog. It was the only soil I could find stored indoors locally and it wasn't near thier other soils that were all outside. I noticed in the store several Hypoaspis Miles on the bags. I still went for it because everything else everywhere was outside and it was even raining that day. Well I was checking out my Solo cups seeds I planted and found a new critter, I believe they are springtails. I can easily find both the mites and springtails but that is all I have found. My plants look great in the soil, I had three that I didn't transplant from cheaper soil that came with Hypoaspis Miles and Fungus Gnats and they just stopped growing. So I am still thinking this was my best option without driving an hour to the city. I would rather not have bugs but at least they seem to be harmless, supposedly beneficial. Just hoping I identified them correctly. All I have is a small magnifying glass. I have a fear of critters simply because Spider Mites from clones wrecked my grow years ago. This is my first grow since.

It is really hard to see them from your photo. But the location suggests they are hopping out of your medium. And by the shape I would guess they are springtails. If you haven't already identified them. Provided you are talking about what looks like thousands of elongated dust specks from the pic. I just found them in my soil as well. Man I hope I don't get that many. Also my bags are on my enclosed porch but I just bought them. And like I said, noticed the soil mites before I even left the store. Sure I just didn't see the springtails.
