Root and Flip questions

For sure some nute burn going on. Best to remove about 1/4 of the nutes and top up with water to drop the ppm. Unless you want to drain and refill at a lower ppm but I never let them sit in just water. Can really screw them up to go from high ppm to nothing.

I'm with OldMedUser. You're running 4gal, right? Remove a gallon and replace it with pHed water and it'll take your ppms down to 875 if you use RO water. 875 plus the naturally ocurring ppms if using tap water.

Doing a complete change today. I'll post back with the specifics and numbers. Canopy is about 18" from the cobs 1 week into flip. I'm super cropping to try and maintain this distance until stretch is done. I'm a lil ascared of the height now...go figure.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Ok here's the new #'s...

Cal/mag 20ml
Silica 10ml
Micro 22.5ml
Grow 7.5ml
Bloom 30ml
Floralicious+ 4ml
Hydroguard 8ml

Ppm 1100
Ph 6.0
Res temp 73
Tent 79
Hum 49%

The 3 part is 75% of what's suggested, the others are full strength.

I also decided to lolipop due to light blockage. I don't believe I will be trimming anything else beyond the odd fan leaf or two from here on out.

Thanks again for all the great guidance and suggestions from all... Much appreciated.

Looks like your doing well. As always, I have to adjust my nute concentrations based on what the plant can tolerate but I've found that most of what I've grown tolerates the basic ratio's that GH throws out.
I see that it's been about a week since the flip-this is when I really start to do some defoliation, especially on the interior branches, to get light to all of the bud sites. It's kind of a dance to allow fan growth and get good light penetration. I find that once she starts to set a solid cola, I will get any fan leaf out of the way if it inhibits growth on any of the colas-at this point I want the plant to focus on buds.

image.jpeg Hey GB,
I did some pruning earlier this week but I'm afraid if I remove any more this will be detrimental to bud development. It's definitely bushy in there but there seems to be 2 schools of thought...
1 don't touch anything in flower aside from the random leaf or 3

2 trim away because the bud sites need the light

Im leaning towards less pruning as I truly just don't know. I know i don't want mold but do I sacrifice my hard work to find out?

Also, on the 2 lowest bud sites they are turning black? What exactly is this? None of the other sites are affected just 2 tiny lower sites outside of the good light im assuming.

I also haven't been adding nutrient to the top off water. I'm adding anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4's of a gallon of tap water to the bucket every day. The water probably has around 80-120 ppm by itself and after the top off the plant is eating around 100 ppm per day.

Any more thoughts on pruning and what's going on would be great. As always, thanks for the insight.

Well it's 3 weeks since flip and everything seems to be moving along nicely.

I did however, end up trimming quite a bit. I really had no choice. It was and still is thick in here. I have 3 fans inside. 2 on the tops and 1 blowing up from the top of the bucket.

Any thoughts on what to do with these buds?? I'm 10 inches from my lights and I don't want to see them suffer. The cobs are running around 50 watts a piece and I don't see any signs of bleaching but I don't want to wait until there is a problem either. Thoughts??
