Rookie with dwc ...please help.

Im about 10 days into veg and Im getting hardly growth and my leaves are brown and very unhealthy looking. My Ph was needing to be lowered daily....I'm made the mistake of using vinegar and I developed alot of slime... I changed buckets, hydroton and air stone along with flushing out my rockwool with ph adjusted water with peroxide in it to kill the slime.... That was 2 days ago...I was hoping it would just snap right out it but no luck so far....any advice would be appreciated.

Get some PH Up/Down.

Plant looks alright, the main damage was too those first leaves and the new growth at least isnt terrible. Just give it time, it'll move very slowly from above for a bit here while it focuses on root growth down below.

To help with PH swing you could add some nutes, idk if u have or not already. At least that works for me anyway cuz of the nutes I use, idk if ur nutes would be different. I just find PH to be more stable with nutes than plain water. Like a hanna ppm of 200 should do

The first week...Plant was just barely past seedling I put 2 tbls in 4 gallons of water ....32ml. It called for 10-20/gallon but plant was so young I went with less. I wasnt as well studied as I thought I was because I was adjusting water ph with vinegar down to 5-6ph and my bucket wasn't blacked out.... ph would be back to 7-8 within a day every time . I dont know if the run off from rock wool or hydroton was causing it or what. The hydroton was thoroughly soaked and rinsed after I purchased it. When I changed slimy solution for fresh nutes and a fresh bucket I blacked it out with aluminum foil tape....I put about 45 ml of ionic grow in 3 gallons, with about 1/2 cup of 3% peroxide and a pinch of aluminum sulfate .....my Ph up and down has yet to arrive in the mail. The ph dropped to 3.98. I've added pinch of sodium bicarbonate and it has raised to 4.1 .... I will check it tmrw again and adjust accordingly.

What is your source water?
Ionic is VERY Stable and probably the most first timer friendly I have ever seen. I love the stuff too!

You should be somewhere in the 10-12ml per gallon range on a plant that size. 15 wouldn't hurt but probably more than needed.
You also should figure out if you will need ph up or down with your source water and not use both

Maybe your water is very hard?

Also, how large is your reservoir?

Yes....I read alot of good stuff about ionic. The water where I live is actually fairly high quality. ..I use tap. Chlorine doesn't even register ...its steady at 7.5. It's just a single 5 gallon bucket with 1 4inch air stone 4 inch rockwool cube and 6.75 inch net pot with one layer of expanded clay pellets on bottom between rock wool and net pot.

Do you all use need oil on your plants or any compost tea in the reservoir? Another thing ....I've looked all over n can't find the like button lol

Try some hydroguard! It totally eliminated my slime issue my first time trying dwc.
Also what is your light setup?
Keep doing your best to keep a steady ph, and not too much ppm at once! Slower is better than faster to risk burns for sure. She will recover fine in time.

What is the EC of your Tap water?
You should not be seeing ph swings like that with Ionic.
I would definitely recommend a remote res that circulates solution making it easier to maintain
I run 4 10Gal Rubbermaid brute trash cans as DWC Modules with a 5th as a res. Total system capacity of 20 Gallons for 4 plants. I can walk away for days and Ionic Stays dead stable in my system

It's in a closet at the moment till I harvest my previous grow... I've just got a 105 watt 6500K cfl about 2 inches above it currently.
