Keep it simple. I seen other growers set ups. I live in a medical growing state. My buddies AN is way better than general hydro or fox farm I can say and way easier to use

Most other nutrients are meant for tomatoes. Not buds. I hear dutch passion is good though but never seen that set up. Or tried it. Just heard. AN is made for weed. And ph and ppm technology is amazing. I cud go cheap like u and get not as good results. Or I cud use nutes and a system made for weed. Hmmmmm. Do the research. It boils down to water. Lights. Strains. Nutes. Environment. Temps. Humidity. And method of growing. With these nures no need for meters at all if using ro water. Maybe down the road to test my ro water to c if i need to change my filters. Other than that it's simple science if you do the research. Plus AN offers 100% money back guarantee if your not satisfied with the results. Just send bottles back and get your refund I read. How can you beat that? If they fail me I get my money back guaranteed. Do other lines do that? Fuck no cuz it's not guaranteed there shit will work. Thsee people back this with many scientists and testing and research thereselves.

Pretty. U ever try Adanced nutes? Ph perfect, ppm perfect technology? I'm using sensi grow and bloom and there whole lineup of products. Lots of nutes for different things. Expensive but worth every penny if ur investing into a easy low maintenance setup.

No never used Adanced nutes started with Dutch Master for DWC and fox farm for soil less
all i need to do is lower my ph from 6.2 to 5.8 and i'm all good

http://blueplanetnutrients.com/ don't show the ppm are ,So i go 1/2 what they say to use comes out AT 400 PPM so i'm good with that

I used to use AN pH perfect Sensi-grow and connoisseur and buy 20-30 gals of RO water a week... Now I use Jacks Professional HyroFeed and their 10-30-20 bloom booster and use tap water.. Believe it or not, I am getting just as good (still too soon to say better, but I dont doubt it will be) of results so far using these two products, and have used just as much pH down, than when I was using 10 different bottles from AN.

Basically what I'm saying is ya it works and does what it says, but you can get the same results using something else at a fraction of the price..

The key is to not be a fool at all... Try that on for size bongsmilie

My first grow. I got money to spend. Don't care about that. Looking for good results/low maintenance system as I work full time and raise 5 kids.

I've read of plenty of cannibas cup winners use AN. I'm looking for the best and easiest system like I said. Being I'm a busy man. I can check on my plants every day and top off with water and nutes when needed. And make sure everything is going smooth in both rooms. But beyond that I don't wanna fuck wit meters and adjusting so maybe it's best for me. And money ain't a thing. Thanks for the output. When I find out my costs to grow and what I'm producing and if it's worth it I'll stay. If not I'll take ur suggestion and do the testers and a cheaper line of nutes. Than is for the feedback

Trial and error right? Test different methods. Maybe I'll try something else on a few plants too. See differences. I posted a thread asking for other suggestions for dwc hydro nutrients. To get more help also. Thanks again :)

Ok well maybe ill stop being bull headed. I really didn't wanna have to fuck with ph levels and ppm and cal mag since using ro water. Trying to keep it simple. But I'll c what other growers suggest before I splurge buy from reading shit on the internet. That's why I joined the forum. For advice from other farmers who know what theyre actually doing.I'm a total noob bro. Seeking advice. I'll listen if you give it to me. You guys know what's up. LIke I said. I made a thred asking which nutes to use in dwc hydro grows. I'm researching before I buy and waste time or money. U know. Thanks for feedback ppl

Keep it coming. The more I know the better. I figured go straight to the source. The growing community. Which is Why I joined. To learn so I don't have to hit or miss or trial and error method. I want success. I've seen shitty setups and infestations and bad grows. I am trying to do the opposite. I want a good grow with good results and good product. Thanks again for helping the newb. Haha

nutrients don't make the grower, knowledge does, and weed is not a special plant that requires different nutes. all plants are the same and use the same nutrients and micro nutrients. there is no magic bottle or magic nutrient companies. learn how plants use them and provide for the best environment you can afford. put money into that instead of nutes.

Yup. I used to be exactly like this guy, using all AN products until I smartened up and decided to test out other nutrients. I've used AN, Dynagro, Technaflora etc. I like AN and that used to be all that I would use, but as I've gained more experience I have found that AN is basically a rip off with them breaking up each nutrient into separate bottles just so the grower will spend more and honestly the best stuff I've grown was me only using Sensi AB, Big bud, and Mother of all blooms by Mad Farmer...Thats it! all of that other shit is just snake oils IMO. And honestly I believe that Dynagro is a way better nutrient than AN for the price! I can tell ZERO difference in my harvest from me using B-52, bud factor X and all of that expensive BULLSHIT and when I kept it simple using only Base nutes and bloom booster....OP do some research bro you can find nutes just as good as AN without breaking your pockets...I know you say money isnt an issue, but saving money is always a good thing

I have environment controlled. Ac unit with a temp control so it kicks on automatically if it gets too hot. I have 3 can fans. One intake. One for air cooled reflectors and carbon filter and one for recirculating air in my room. Have humidifier and dehumidifer. Programable thermostat for heat in winter. Temps and humidity controlled. And fans also inside my rooms. I'm not dumb just cuz I'm new to this. And I'm researching other nute companies and products as we speak

like was said above, you can still use AN ph perfect, just need the base nutes is all, forget about all the other stuff. Once you got a few good grows in, then you can play with the other snake oils if you still feel the need.

So advanced nutrients is liars? They said no need for ph or ppm meters with there ph perfect products. Do you use advanced nutrienys ph perfect? Or what nutes do u use? Cuz I'd lIke feedback from ppl who use Adanced Nutrients ph perfect sensi grow and bloom. It says calcium and magnesium levels are dialed in. Along with no need to ever adjust ph. There technology takes care of all that for you there website says.
I use AN nutes, have for years. The Ph Perfect technology isn't meant to adjust your Ph for you, the nutrients are chelated and paired with other stuff to allow nutrient uptake at Ph levels outside the traditional windows....

That being said... get the Ph meter, its like $12, and takes about 6seconds per plants every day or two.... As I said, I use it (I switched to the connoisseur line) and having your Ph in the 5.6-5.8 area helps immensely.

The more effort you put in, the better your shit gets. If you want shwag, get as lazy as possible, and just.... let it do its thing... (or throw some bag seeds in a creek bed)

I find w/ the RO water, I still have to add cal-mag, thats about it.

I hate nirvana, it makes my res/roots dark looking, I barely ever use it anymore.....

If you are so convinced, A) Why did you ask for advice from people who aren't selling you the product? and B) Why aren't you just growing already using your method of "just add 4ml/L, no calmag, don't adjust the ph, ever..." and make a grow journal....

Otherwise if you came here asking for people who actually have experience, who aren't salesmen pitching something to you.... then listen, and stop being an AN commercial.... we can look those up ourselves if we need a laugh.

If you follow exactly what it says, your plants will be defficient in calmag, and nute shocked from the nitrogen.... the Ml/L application is way too high on their feeding schedule, and if you use a proper RO filter, you need to supplement the cal+mag back in.... I started out w/ spring water for the frist 3-4 grows in my new house, til I got my RO filter... and then the CaMg issues showed up.

You do too need it if you use RO.

How are pot plants different from other plants? And how is a fertilizer good for tomatoes, squash, peas and etc... but not pot? And yes, all the cup winners say they use AN because An is paying them to use their products. Kind of like Shaq doing a Buick commercial but do you think he would drive a Buick if they weren't paying him to? Blow your money like you're a baller. But to think you're going to get better buds with a certain fertilizer is naive, countless threads here prove that.

Edit* Sorry should have read ahead more, didn't realize I was beating a dead horse about AN. But really would suggest a ph meter or the little test kit for like $7 and never follow the recommended. Usually to strong it you do, that's with almost all fertilizer brands too.
