http://ripatients.org/ This is a overview of the proposed changes. It will hurt patients who grow their own meds making them purchase tags for each plant to be grown. Caregivers will pay more than a patient per plant but the 3 compassion centers who operate within the state shouldn't be subject to these tax tags. Also the new governor Gina Raimondo who's responsible for this horrible piece of proposed legislation seems to be extremely out of touch with common sense and is transparent with her ambition to line her own pockets.
The plant tax is only one part of this piece of crap legislation. If you look over the link I posted you will see the who program will be changed in favor of making compassion centers more powerful and limit everyday patients rights. It's absolutely awful and needs to be stopped. We should be moving towards legalization NOT unreasonable taxation, reduction in patents rights all while the compassion centers( who I have no problem with really) would only benefit...

Every state wants to implement the tag tracking plant thing same here in michigan it's just a way to scam more money, because its pointless to track a plant because once it's cut down how in the hell would you track the bud lead alone even know how much one would produce to even track it, more useless crap in the already corrupt system

NH yeah it's bullshit, I'm sure they will have to change it once some medical patient gets charged and walks on a jury nullification.

But I'm getting the card anyway I can't wait to be let off cause I have a card be safe to hold weed like everywhere in New England. :)
if u from out of state thry are pricks in nh,its all about the dollar, even in maine the fine;s are crazy

Yeah, it's crazy in this state I paid $750 just for a bag of weed but they had 2 other petty charges dropped so I would take the plea bargain. I think we are going to finally get decriminalization soon like the only state that doesn't have it yet in New England yet we have Live Free Or Die on our license plates. Lol

But with everyone around us going green we are starting to go green won't be too long just got to stay low key.

i'm kinda torn on these scams that seem to be happening around legalizing pot. in one hand, i'm happy that it's moving in the right direction, but i don't like how before it's even gotten out the gate some places were busted(illinois i think) trying to keep control in the hands of the good ol boy club so they could get rich. i think control should rest in the hands of the people and the caregivers and patients. these states where the severely limited the amount of dispensaries that could be in existence and made sure those dispensaries went to a predetermined group of people (who most likely already paid a huge kickback with included percentage payout) is just wrong, and one of the reasons i hate that govt is even involved with mj. i'd ultimately like to see where medical cards have state to state reciprocity, where people can grow their own free of cop harassment and ridiculous things like "tags" for plants and the like, and the biggest thing is mandatory education by trusted sources on mj for cops. i'd also like to see alcohol and mj completely divorced of each other in every aspect as they are absolutely nothing alike. sure there is some anecdotal evidence some etoh is ok for you, but the overwhelming scientific proof that mj has hundreds of legit uses shows they aren't alike.

Its not about tracking the plants..... its about telling them where those plants are so they can break your door down and catch you. Tagging systems require addresses and disclosure of your identity.
