Thought I would post my latest experiment and what I have learned so far on revegging in my Stealth Cab.
Cab is approx 18" deep x 36" wide x 6' high steel two door utility cab modified for stealth grow. I use a resilite tub that had 14 grow baskets w clay pebbles and a drip irrigation fed from a pump in the res. The light source is a 357 Magnum LED box, Gen 1 that gets it done quite well. There is a carbon filtered exhaust fan and one of two intake fans are on. I removed second one as the cab had positive pressure and the odor was noticeable.
I usually can fit up to 8 full size planst in the rez- 14 is too much to get any real growth. I usually run a mix of plants to experiment with flavors and effects. This current run is a reveg run with 1 Gigabud, 1 Double Black and 3 707 Headband that were grown from seed from Attitude. There are also 2 clones from one of the 707s that I put into cab late in flower cycle. They flowered briefly but now are in reveg too They were finally all harvested except for the lower popcorn on Nov 6 and the lights were flipped back to 24 hr from 12/12.
The yields on the gigabud was a little over 3 oz of trimmed bud. The Double black was disappointing, but was shaded by bigger plants and only yielded a 1/2 oz. The larger of the 707s gave up 2 1/2 oz of trimmed bud. The other two were maybe a 1/2 each, again, stunted due to others overgrowth and very different growing pattern vs the big sister. It showed a Mag deficiency while all the other plants did not. Epson salts fixed that quickly and it proved to be a beast.
I use 3 part GH nutes with added B-52 and Hygrozyme at each rez change out. I run at pH 5.8 when I adjust and use untreated well water with a base ppm of about 250. Has plenty of Mg, Ca and Fe in it. Have used RO in past but the well water works just fine and I don't run into slime issues I had on occasion with RO. I have done this before with bigger yields and more potent on reveg which many say is not possible. Last time was with Sour Diesel , OG Kush and Sour Kosher. The Sour K was revegged and put outside in dirt for a third go around. It pushed off 3 oz of primo weed after living in apot in the cab until early August.
So ,for those wondering how to do reveg in a DWC stealth cab, which I have done successfully before here we go...
Following last harvest of buds ( I usually cut three times to max out yield over two weeks), i add additional grow nutes to rez and flip light timer back to 24 hrs. I dont change rez immediately as not to double shock with light switch and rez change . After three days I swap out the rez which is about 12 gallons at the fill level I use, and refill with fresh water, 4 capfuls each of the three part nutes, two caps of Hygrozyme and 2 caps of B-52. I also hand remove any dead or loose roots to allow new ones to form and to keep organic dead matter down. After a week, I change rez out again with same nutes and clean out roots once again.. The rez water is usually full of dead floating root matter that reeks havoc on pH control as the Hygrozyme digests it. After two weeks of 24 hr light in the cab, I have reveg leaves on all 7 plants. The Gigabud, the two smaller 707s from seed and one of the clones are ahead of the others so far. The remaining clone, Double Black and bigger 707 are showing new growth, just not as rapid.
I will update this as I go with Pics and a yield analysis at the end and see if I can better a pretty good yield for a cab and LED. As far as how the last run came out, all who have samples the cured bud from the first cuts saw its killer stuff. Pics to follow.
