Revegged Plants

I took clones from a mother in the early flowering stages by accident and now it appears I have revegged clones. All of them have the same weird growth patterns. Single or tri-digit leaves. Weird curly leaves. Strange branching out.

I had to post in the sick plant thread because I've never seen this before and thats where I was told they are revegged.

I've done a little reading and apparently some people do this deliberately because it tends to make the plants very busy and fat with more colas. Does anyone here have experience with this?

I'm kind of stressed out worrying because I'm worried I've screwed them up and will end up with a crappy harvest... meanwhile some people say I could end up with a record harvest.

Thoughts?

run them 24/7 for a min of 3 weeks. the new growth usually will grow in normal. DONT cut clones off them. the clones will be freaks. from my experience . shop around for new clones or seed right now. you will be ok . I have cut clones off a plant that was over the 3 week mark in flower . most of them came out ok. only tossed out a few for safety reasons. did not want to take a chance of herm in the flower room . so 9 out of 12 came out just fine with a good harvest. 3 were tossed out before flower . yeah they grow funny for sure .

I wouldn't change the lighting or change a thing.
Just let it grow out. It will do its thing back to normal veg.
You'll have 3, 5, and 7-finger leaves in no time.
You can always cut off the branches you don't want.

After these have completely revegged is it still not safe to re-clone them?

I still have the mother as well. Is it safe to continue to take clones from her? I almost cut her down. Every cycle I usually move one out of the main room just before flower and keep it in a different room as a mother. Then, 4 weeks before harvest I cut the new batch of clones from the one I kept back. I was planning to do the same this time.

I'm not sure how easy it will be to find this strain here again. Its Diesel Grapefruit and its been a great smoke. I do have an AK48 started from seed which will be ready to clone shortly.

Also, is there any chance that these could hermi? I've never had that happen before either.

So nothing truly bad going on here? Possibly a good thing, although unintentional on my part?

Never had a herm or problem with the plants before so I guess its fairly safe to assume it won't herm on me.

Also forgot to ask, should it be under 24/0 or is 18/6 fine. Thats what they have been on.

Thanks

nothing bad at all the funky leaf growthis a response to the stress of being cut off and forced to become a plant from a branch, once the clone is established it will griw as normal and will have zero effect on the buds.
24 or 18 hour is fine but the 24 will get you back to normal a bit qui ker.
the technique your referring to is calledmonster cropping. and u agree bad genetics herm if the plant has the ability to go intersex when stressed its not worth keeping imo
good luck with your grow hope this helps

Revegging doesnt hermie anymore than anything else. I reveg 5 specific plants each cycle to take advantage of them having 5 gallon rootballs already ready to go. Anyone telling you to throw out revegged doesnt know whats goin on. And you can clone from them very well (youll have a bunch to pick from with how bushy they get) its actually my preferred way to get a ton of one kind of cuttings. Have a single stem plant start flowering, pop it back into veg and then take 20 cuttings and still have plenty on it to go back into flower

heresa clone of one of my own strains (i take cuts about 3-4 weeks into flower) shes already starting to get back to normal :)
I can see on the bottom your plant must have looked like mine does now. I'm just freaked out because I've never seen it before and didn't know what to make of it or how I should deal with it.

Do you find that your plants yield more this way? Do they ordinarily get nice and bushy with more colas?

If so, I might consider cloning this way instead of trying to keep mothers going. Extra power use and all that. Not to mention every single plant goes towards my max allowed total.

It's fine. They are the same as regular clones once they get into full veg mode again.
