Resistance to Edibles?

HI EVERYBODY!

So, after a long absence (so long I might as well be new again), I'm back.

Well, as the title says, edibles don't seem to do anything for me. Way back when, when I started out I tried making them a couple of times and they didn't get me high. At all. I ate the whole batch of cookies (should have been 12 strong doses), and nada. I figured I'd just buggered it up being a newb and all, but recently had some treats imported from the fine state of Colorado - supposed to be potent stuff. Nothing.

So, I gave it one last try, I used high-grade medical. Smoked, it's a killer, truly powerful weed. Tonight, I was bored and thought "WTF, let's try making edibles again." I'm a good cook, but I decided that I'd keep it simple, stupid simple. So, I made Leary Biscuits. Timothy Leary's own recipe and instructions. I figured if anyone knows how to do it right, he would be that guy. I ate three, three biscuits with a fat bud on each. Right now I'm at T+2:00 and im maybe feel a little yawny.

Any ideas? I've heard this can happen, but what I ate tonight should have been enough to get me and several friends uber, uber high. I'd say it's tolerance, but I've basically been abstaining - for over a year. Seriously, for someone wanting to get high on the sly, this is a problem...

Well to start off, its impossible to not get high on decarbed thc in a suitable carrier In a proper dose.
Making butter by extracting thc using heat and fat is very inefficient and not very potent though it can be done. The rate the fat is absorbing cannabinoids slows as saturation increases, you wont know the exact potency (mg/ml), the length of time and heat after cooking and to extract will degrade sensitive thc giving most edibles a more sleepy couchlock efect even though thc becomes more psychoactive after going through the liver

It is more of a hassle but a simple qwiso or whatever you prefer to make hash first and then staurating the oil is the best method. It, the hash should be decarbed over a double boil to watch it finish, the inactive thca releasing co2 and h2o bubbles are easy to recognize, thc will not boil at 210° (water). If you try to decarb any other way you will do it too much or too little, no way around it. And it must be decarbed to cross the blood brain barrier and get effects.
When saturating the fat in this manner you can know exactly the mg dose and get it to hold as much as possible if so desired.
The fat carrier you use also makes a difference, coconut oil is the best to use. Though you could even eat cannabinoids not in solution. Try a 300mg dose
