First time posting photos but there arent a lot of threads about RPC - who apparently have no affiliation to DNA or Reserva Privada.

citrix in 3 gal smart pots, nerds in 2 gal smart pots

this is my first run in a secured room i built out in my garage w/ the tent inside. wife and i celebrated our first child last fall so the garden was moved to the garage so that the spare bedroom could become a nursery. colorado's laws require a grow to be in a concealed, secure, locked space so i built out a space in the back corner of the garage and then put a tent in it. it has presented some challenges - i have limited amperage and temperatures can fluctuate. this is also my first run w/ these genes after years of running a consistent mix of cuts from friends w/ predictable outcomes so there was a little learning curve there as well. in retrospect i probably should have stuck w. something familiar but since we were shut down for a few months and then started in a fresh space it also felt good to start the search for some new strains. all in all its gone well despite a few leaves getting a little close to the light on these chilly nights when im trying to conserve heat.

the nerds were a late addition. i initially had a bunch of rare dankness's moonshine haze beans that a friend had passed on from another friend. he had some samples of the smoke that was harvested from an outdoor grow that was very impressive so i popped a bunch of those w/ the citrix. well, they were finicky little ladies and they were lagging far behind the citrix so i started doing some research and found that rare dankness says its a 70+ day strain but some people have found it to go over 80. i took a few months off during the transition from house to garage so the stash is getting low, lol, 80 days might be too long. so i gave all but 1 of those out to some friends who have more space and flexibility in plant counts than i do and popped the nerds about 6 weeks behind the citrix figuring i'd just fill in some holes and pop to 12/12 as soon as i had 5-6 nodes on the nerds and could tie the tops down. the nerds is supposed to be a week or two quicker finishing up so i hoped that the lag in getting the nerds through stretch might have them finishing about the same time. so far it looks like the nerds might actually be a little behind but it may also just fill in real quick and ripen right up. ive never run urkle or sour so its just kind of watch and see at this point.

the citrix have started their flush and a couple buds are starting to purple. i might give the nerds another round of nutes this week since i think shes a little behind. the moonshine is not pictured.

citrix - grapefruit x la confidential
nerds - purple urkle x sour diesel

thanks for the compliments!

checked out the link to your garage - thats a lot of light! i couldnt pull it off in my garage in colorado, its waaaay too fucking hot. i'll prob have to shut the tent down for the summer, im really hoping to get my next round out of veg ASAP to try to beat the heat.

stoked for the citrix, they smell like you got punched in the face by a grapefruit.

but, dont sleep on the Nerds, theyll be plenty frosty theyre just a little behind. i staggered them going into flower since theyre a little quicker than the citrix finishing up. but theyre swelling and ripening up nicely, this one's the furthest along but i dont put up many pics of her because when she was young she got a little close to the hood and has a few droopy leaves in there as a result, hah. she's fine though, see -

not a lot of RPC threads out here so i'll keep it updated through harvest. i know i was wishing to find at least a couple threads about these strains for comparison's sake. thanks for looking.

Good to see someone else growing out these lines. I have both the Citrix and the Nerds going. I just put my first Citrix in the flower tent 9 days ago. I have a few Nerds in veg now.

Have you had any issues with Herming? I have read too much about RPC having issues with that. Might be getting overly paranoid.

Overall Looks fantastic

thanks for the compliments mrfreshy.

i've pulled one tiny banana each from 3 separate citrix plants just this week. all easy to spot while still very immature. the buds are darkening and tightening up and its real easy to spot the light green/yellow thing poking out. and all in hotspots that i know have crept a little closer to the light at times than they should have. im not sure i can present that as the cause or anything but i should note it.

nothing as drastic as clusters of naners on lowers or anything like that (so far).

I'll be following this. Cant wait to see the final chop.

Ill put some pictures up soon of the ones I have going. They are doing 6-8 weeks in Veg before I'm putting them in the tent. I popped 3 of the citrix and two became monsters under my T5. One was a runt from the Beginning, so I decided to top the hell out of it. The other 2 are about 30" before 12/12. The first one has stretched about 10" in the first week of 12/12.

The Nerds are not as far along. They are about 4 weeks from seed. And again one is a runt, and the other is stretchy one.

Im really hoping RPC can produce something good. I also heard from the guys at the clinic they are going to be making an announcement on 4/20 for their next line. hopefully they get some of the Tangie going or the Stardawg

i have 6 citrix in there and one of them was a shorty pheno - the rest are all quite similar - and they all (but the shorty) stretched pretty tall at 12/12. i veg'd to maturity - pre-flowers popping out at every node, about 6 weeks with lots of LST - tied down the tops, then the branches, etc. the shorty looks to be the lowest yielder by a bit but she's also the frostiest, which almost always seems to be the case when pheno hunting. now that we're late in flower i do have 2 that are purpling up more than the others but as far as smell goes they all smell like a grapefruit punched you in the face.

the nerds are also all pretty similar at this point. they stretched out pretty well too. they all smell like grape candy.

i kept mine under 1000w mh for the first 2 weeks of 12/12. id definitely recommend tying them down right before you flip. they all bushed up really nicely and plenty of side branches have buds on them almost as big as the main tops.

i'll get some pics to show the structure when i pull them inside for chopping. hoping to get the first few down this weekend, but still not seeing any amber from multiple samples. today is day 66 for the citrix.

the citrix & nerds are both from "reserva privada COLORADO."

so these are bred and sold in colorado but said to have no affiliation w/ dna or reserva privada.

which i just find to be crazy. i dont know anyone who knows these dudes or have any kind of inside info but once its not illegal to be crossing between CA and CO w/ this kind of stuff we might find that things are more closely related than they once appeared. otherwise, i gotta admit that calling themselves "reserva privada colorado" is kind of weak. i'd also wonder why dna/rp werent upset about this.

for now, and as far as i know, there is no affiliation between dna genetics, reserva privada, and the group operating as reserva privada colorado. the only place to buy these seeds is in Colorado at a dispensary chain called The Clinic.
