Those SGS's even with their age will still out perform most of the cheap LED lights out there. But the new LED's and COBs that are out now will out perform them in performance and efficiency by a wide margin.
idk my sgs tent is having no problem keeping up with the Vero29s.. Certainly not a "wide margin"

Hello everyone
@REALSTYLES i saw your video, but where are the roots? I never done hydro but usualy there is a lots of roots visible under the plant and they're very long when blooming, so where did you hide it, or maybe it is some Uzumaki a ninja plant from konoa!?!
I'm going to make a diy a bit like you i will order everything I need soon, I'm in the price comparison phase the one before ordering and i still don't know which bin and cri are the best for 3000k 3590 cxb (x4 on hlg-185-1400b drivers + cpu coolers)
Have a nice day★

That's the way I do mine, 6" rock wool cubes.

But I flood and drain to 4" every two days till about after the stretch.

then every day till harvest. Seems to work out good for me.

All on timers and just needs to be checked and nute solution added, 3 weeks in flower now, about 5 gal a day.

I will have dried pics this week! Cut down the crop yesterday and I am optimistic of more than 1g/w right now. The buds are very dense, more so it seems than HPS ever was but we will see once she sheds the water. Drying only takes 3 days so 2 more to go.

Hi doz,
Looking forward to see your results (:
Drying only takes 3 days so 2 more to go.
Do you have a special drying tech ?
Do your stems break or twist after those 3 days ?

In my experience, if drying only takes 3 days, it isn't dry yet, or it dried way to quickly and you lose a lot of quality ... 7 days is a minimum in my book. Usually takes 10-12 days when I have close to optimal RH (~60%)..
(I don't mean to bash, just curious)

:peace:

I'm feeling very doubtful that any bud I've ever loved has been grown under LED. I've joined so many collectives in LA, best bud on planet Earth (I've smoked everywhere), but I bet none of it is LED grown.
I will be very happy to be wrong about this.
Hmm, i'd take the bay area's selection and variety over soCal..
but that's just me..
