  • i know , i am probably getting what I deserve for even enrolling in the program in the first place. After an appointment on march 25th discussing the use of mmj for my conditions, my prescription amount, producer etc with my dr I mailed off my lp registration documents to the clinic on march 31st. its now april 14th and i have not heard a word from anyone. is this unusual? i feel like i am being impatient but what the wait with the elimination of HCs involvement? thought the new process was supposed to be quick? i paid for courier costs.

you should have received it in less than 7 working days.
i figured something along these lines. considering i live in remote northern BC i gave the benefit of the doubt of my mail taking a week to reach the clinic. But what happens with the time since is beyond me. I am going to call and see if my documents got lost in the mail even though they state they cant update RE registration process.

Which LP is holding you up? Phone them and ask them to contact your Doctor to confirm that your script is real and you should be ready to go.

Honestly I am wondering if it is the LP or the Clinic. why would the LP not want the business. I have contacted them and they say its fairly quick process depending on the Dr and staff. The LP is mettrum and the clinic is a "skype" clinic that i wont mention at this time because they have been great, i am just unsure of the hold up.

That is nice of you caring for the skype clinic. Many patients would also like to know of your skype clinic.. The skype clinic would also like patients to know about them so they can make MONEY. I have seen $400 to $450 as a common rate for this MMPR script. Alot of dough to carry or buy some bud. How much does your clinic cost? Thanks

forsure.. i wouldnt say i am caring.. just wouldnt want people to assume they are in the wrong when i do not have a full understanding of whats happening yet, i am just frustrated and wondering if anyone has experienced issues similar. the clinic bares a similar name too the one you use in this forum. located in Abbotsford :) i also paid 400 dollars, which i would recoup within a month or so of ordering from my selected lp . i pay 260 $ an ounce of shit up north of the street. ( locating it and dealing with shady ppl another story)

heres a breakdown of there costs from them.. apparently none of which are covered by medical because of it being a private clinic.

$50 – patient medical record fee

$150 – clinic fee for four medical office assistants

$100 – doctor’s fee

$20 – courier’s fee for mailing application

$150 – for each subsequent visit

Thanks for the skype link and the price breakdown. That is the best option for now for some patients to protect themself from the law. $400 is the going rate for a get out of jail card. Good to hear you are protecting yourself and I hope that your license goes through soon. Bless

I registered with tweed using my ATP. And it took almost 6 weeks.....I was told they would have product for early April of at least 15 strains....well it's the 14th now and still no meds,

I did see that they updated their website......and what a surprise they will only have 3 strains avalubul in April..but not sure of the date.

I called the rep and asked how they could be so close to a release but not have a sure date......nothing

During this whole process I was so adamant wit tweed about not wanting to have a huge gap in my med supply and if they didn't think they would be shipping in early April then I would look else where. But I was reassured that that would not be an issue........what's that saying? fool me once. shame on you..fool me twice.......

I guess it's too much to ask for a straight answer from someone

I was originally planning on going with tweed as well but had a feeling they wouldnt have supply in april as they kept flip flopping on the availability date. I sent my documents away on the 31st of march , i guess hoping for access to meds by mid april was absurd to hope for. i am frustrated now , i couldnt imagine how id feel after 6+ weeks... I thought this was supposed to make access easier? lol

You got your card eh.....that was supposed to come last week for me......other empty promise

Don't get me wrong. I'm defiantly not going with out....but I really feel for all the patients out there that are suffering in limbo right now coz these lp's don't wanna be honest with their. Clients.

Have you gotten anything out of them about when in April I can hope to buy one of their 3 strains listed ?

I know right.... If any thing this has been an act of attrition on the patients by the gov and surprisingly the l'p's..who I would have thought would be trying the ire best to get a good first impression with ther clients

I registered with WMMC on April 4. Received a call from them on April 9th confirming they had my application and that my Doctor responded to their fax/confirmation request. They even took an order from me. It was sent out on Thursday April 10. I expect it to arrive tomorrow or Wednesday. I will keep you all posted on progress/speed and quality

You should approach your doctor and have a new script written up after you explain the troubles you have had so far with your chosen LP. My doctor was pretty understanding and wrote me two scripts (the second starting after the first expires) so i could try out multiple LP's

Best of luck beebell91, keep up the good fight

I sent an email this morning I excpect to here back from them by 4 pm pacific time whats going on or what the hell the problem is
