Reflective materials

What's is the best material ( cheap) for reflecting my light, I personally am just going to get white poster board and use that because I heard foils can concentrate light patterns and burn your plants.......any ideas. ASAP would be killer

white plastic sheeting.

Rolls of white butchers paper work well too. One side is even slick to resist water. Put that side away from the plants. Temporary but cheap and easy. Hang with masking tape.

I'm using panda plastic (black\white) on all surrounding walls mostly because its waterproof and will prevent water, spray, pollen, and other stuff from ruining the walls. In areas where I need more reflectivity I put mylar up.

Even being cheap I would never use poster board, except as small portable, mobile disposable reflector panels, since it doesn't handle water and cleanup.

A bucket of bright white paint works too. Not as reflective but it's cheap, easy to find and you'll have more than enough later for touch ups. You'll get about 80-90% light.

I used a car windshield reflector and cut it up and glued it in my case as I needed. $1.99 at Walmart!

You've got the best, white poster boards, flat white I hope, that's what I use and it works great.

Flat white paint or wind shield reflector is what ive used but why not get mylar? its cheapish and reflects most light..

i use emergency blanket mylar.

I got a pack of 10 for 4 bucks and 1 package covers a large space.
and everytime i open my box it lights up the whole room

ORKA Film- expensive as fuck but looks to be the future of reflective material

Panda Film- your best answer, runoff doesn't stick

Mylar- I just don't like the look.. untidy.

Poster Board... Sounds like a good idea, at first... But you want like 60-80% RH for veg... My biggest concern would be Mold from the moisture/paper

My whole tent is made of reflectix. Works great. The only thing to consider is that it is used for insulation. So heat won't escape as much as other materials. But it is nice and durable. Easy to wipe down. Etc. Available at any
lowes or home despot where they keep the normal insulation.
