Reflective Material Question.

Currently i cannot find any stores in my area that carry mylar.. so my question is.. Will aluminum foil work as wall lining for a grow box.. And is it true that if crumpled it can cause burn spots on a plant?

Also.. if it will work as long as it isnt crumpled.. which side works better?

no dont used foil it will burn the plants

Get an emergency blanket from wal-mart in the sporting goods / camping dept. Lots better than foil and not too expensive.

Flat white ceiling paint is number three on light reflectivity.Mylar,panda film and white paint.Paint is easy to clean,just repaint.
Foil is poor for this use,i have used it long ago and never had problems with plants getting burnt from hot spots.Use it if you have too,and paint it as soon as you can afford a small can of paint.OPH
